I have been trying to set up the slitaz example again in openqa on opensuse 13.2 as a reference. The openqa live display gets as far as <snapshot1>, cannot find the iso file and finishes. On the other hand, running qemu manually as below: linux-e2wi:/usr/bin # ./qemu-system-x86_64 -m 512M -cdrom /var/lib/openqa/factory/iso/slitaz-4.0.iso runs normally. I have previously used the location /var/lib/openqa/factory/iso/ and this has worked for both slitaz and mageia test cases. What is the default location for the test iso expected by qemu when driven by openqa/os-autoinst and/or does it now have to be set up somewhere in the openqa perl test files? Hi everybody, I've noticed after the initial installation -right after the configuration. During the first reboot, the resolution for the Leap logo is correct. When I reboot every other time, it shows the logo in a lower resolution despite me using "nouveau" or installing the Nvidia blob. My monitor is 1680x1050 Is there a way of increasing and setting the resolution for the logo? BTW Tumbleweed's Plymouth logo looks great and the resolution is correct! [opensuse-factory] Leap do not start

Hello I beg the Christmas period is not the best to have bugs :-(. I have a pretty annoying problem, my bugzilla: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=960392 and a post on opensuse@ didn't get any comment, so why I try here. Any hint of what I can do to debug would be very appreciated. I installed Leap around 10 days ago and had no problem of this sort at the beginning, so I suppose it's an update that brought the problem. The symptom is simple: the computer start, grub start, but the boot fails at some moment (see the images in the bug). In fact, Leap start *sometime*, for example, I use it right now to write this report, but it's only once on a while. Once started, it works without problem. I tested as many option I could think of, none was giving permanent result. What surprises me is that at install time Nvidia drivers where working with no special option on the kernel line, now I have added "nomodeset" and it works (sometime). [opensuse-factory] Installing Sun jdk it's a pain

HI guys, is there a easy way to install sun jsdk on opensuse/leap ? Are 2 days that I'm trying on 13.2 but at the end, there is always something that does not work. There are dozen of tutorial, forum thread, video, script but they are outdated not working. There are tutorial for Leap too so things are not better. I know that the sun jdk cannot be shipped with the distro. OpenJdk is not the answer. What about at working spec file ? Or an src that download jdk from sun website and rebuild it locally ? Do we want to be one of the worst distro for working with java ?
