Is there a replacement for perl(DateTime)? virt-v2v has it in BuildRequires and I wonder what the proper fix is to allow build in Virtualization/openSUSE_42. [opensuse-factory] Fixing SLE12 package for Leap

Hi, I noticed that yast2-sound wasn't built for openSUSE Leap i586, and found that it's explicitly disabled in SLE12 builds as below: # XXX: SLE-12 build packages for x86 and s390, but no runnable kernel, so # this package cannot be build here. Remove when SLE stop doing it %if %suse_version == 1315 ExcludeArch: %ix86 s390 %endif Now an easy fix is to add the conditional checking %is_opensuse there. However, this means that the package is forked from SLE12. I can submit the fix to openSUSE:42 as usual. [opensuse-factory] mongodb maintainer wanted

Hi mongodb (server:database/mongodb) is getting outdated, and it seems that it does not have active maintainer. Since I approved several SR's fixing small issues, people started to ask me about possibility of update to new release, for which I don't have time nor I have any interest in being maintainer of mongodb in openSUSE. Stupid question: Tumbleweed is actually openSUSE 13.3 "Testing" right..?? this would be the most logical path... (possible) Roadmap: OpenSUSE Factory (alpha packages) --> OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (beta and stable packages, fix all small quirks) --> OpenSUSE 13.3 (stable Release) As for Leap 42: pointless, i don't see "OpenSUSE-ers" using this... (4.11.22 only contains a fix for KDM, that is already part of the openSUSE package since December) So "KDE4" (the desktop) is now officially "dead".
