[opensuse-factory] krunner crash -> you cannot report this error

Hi, When krunner crashes, the crash dialog tells me that 'You cannot report this error, because krunner does not provide a bug reporting address'. Is this intended? What am I supposed to do with these reports? [opensuse-factory] Flickering program dialogs when closing

Hi I've just had an experience of every time i closed a program, the dialog that was open for that program would flash about 10 times (guessed - couldn;t count as it was too fast) before it closed. It also flashed the desktop when i logged out after i closed all running desktop programs. [opensuse-factory] suse_version handling troubles/solutions

Hello, As discussed a bit on the 42 thread and I don't wanna get it lost in some crazy deep thread. %suse_version is not really well set-up for our mix of sle/opensuse so we need to devise something to solve the trouble. There are multiple solutions: 1) Introduce extra macro, ie %opensuse_version YYYYMMDD which would be based on the snapshots and always bumped, so we can seriously finegrain what to enable. This has problem if we backport back the features back to SLE so suddenly they are supposed to be covered just by %suse_version thing. Or we would need to mesh in that anything %suse_version 12 %opensuse_version ANYTHING is older than %suse_version 12.1... 2) Redo how we think about optional features and why we use the suse_version. Instead of %if suse_version > 1140 BuildRequires: bla %endif We could devise in rpm like TryBuildRequires which would pull in packages if they are around and otherwise provide some packagename = 0 for further depending conditions. For defines we could instead of version requirement check for the define and if not found, define it with expected value/behaviour (like in python packages), and so on. Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers, Another week filled with package submissions, most of them with bug fixing nature. For bugfixes I try to remember what people reported as issues on the mailing list and try to mention the fixes for them. It won't be a complete list though. Updates this week: * As promised, the KDE Applications 15.04.2 have been released onto the Tumbleweed users. * Firefox 38.0.5 was released early in the week and it caused some issues for the KDE users, for who the back button apparently did not work. Firefox 38.0.6 has been released in plus to address this issue. * The kernel received a number of bugfixes (rtlwifi, btrfs) and the next snapshot (20150612) will be receiving the update to version 4.0.5 * The KDE Team was reworking some of the patterns to ensure that upgrading to Tumbleweed for 'late starters' (coming from a supporter release of openSUSE) should have less issues. * man: the issue that root was not allowed to launch man while being in his home directory has been fixed * apache2: the filenames have been reverted back to the upstream names, making existing documentation on the web valid for openSUSE again. The 'old' openSUSE names are preserved for convenience and compatibility. Outlook into the future: * GCC5 made great progress the last week. Basically all issues on packages that are shipped on the DVD have been resolved. We can expect the switch to GCC 5 as the new default compiler for Tumbleweed to happen very soon. Packagers: please keep your eyes open for new failures! Packages that are NOT in the rings (so, packages not on the DVD) have NOT been rebuilt during the staging process. YaST2-Security, the YaST module to configure local security settings, is aging. In the short term (next week), the goal is to do less disruptive changes. Hi all, I am having difficulties with installing vagrant in TW; The package is not built against the latest ruby, so it fails to install.
