You're biased because you're focused on saving space. But if you were focused on saving snapshots, what snapper does is exactly fine. [opensuse-factory] automounting USB devices with xfce on 12.3

I usually update my system with the traditional yast method. Now on 12.3, xfce no longer automounts devices in my USB card-reader. I think it used to work on 12.2, and it definitely work on a 12.3 installation from scratch. How can I debug this on my updated 12.3 system? Do others suffer from the same? [opensuse-factory] devel project for yubi packages wanted

[opensuse-factory] Hermes mails and DNS issues

Hi, I am not entirely sure if this issues should be reported here but, for a couple of days I am not receiving notifications from hermes, due to the fact that sender domain dhl.suse.de is not found NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from dhl.opensuse.org[195.135.221.142]: 450 4.1.8 <hermes(a)dhl.suse.de>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found; Until a couple of days ago, there was no problem so my best guess is some infrastructure changes have happened. [opensuse-factory] override sysctl.d settings ?

I created the following file: /etc/sysctl.d/ipv6tempaddr.conf --- net.ipv6.conf.default.use_tempaddr = 0 --- It seemed to be being ignored, so I checked dmesg: systemd-sysctl[258]: Duplicate assignment of net/ipv6/conf/default/use_tempaddr in file '/etc/sysctl.d/ipv6tempaddr.conf', ignoring. [opensuse-factory] Windows freezing in M2

I have windows freezing periodically in M2 GNOME i686. The mouse is still active, but I can't move or switch windows for five minutes or so. The clock stops, too. It's happened several times in the yast software manager, but it's not limited to that. I can be casually surfing in Firefox and see the same thing. I don't see anything interesting in the .xsession-errors, but I'm attaching that if anyone wants to peruse it. Any guesses what's going on? Specs: 3GB RAM and an AMD64 3800 2.0GHz, GeForce 6150 LE.
