[opensuse-factory] Problem setting NTP service

Hi All, I'm using 12.3-ß1 and can't get Yast2 to set the NTP server. When I have selected the server (bigben.cac.wa.edu) and tested (which returned successfully) and then try to save the configuration it returns an error "Cannot adjust ntp service". This has been observed in all the 12.3 series, not just ß1. In perusing the log files I don't see anything pertinent to this problem. I've tried installing RC1 but am having other problems during the installation process with build0024. Will wait for a further build. Anyone have a suggestion on what I should do or where to look for a solution? [opensuse-factory] 12.3 RC1 missing provider kdebase4-workspace-branding

I was trying to upgrade from opensuse-12.3 beta to rc1 using zypper update. All of the packages got upgraded except the kernel and kwin. Hello, What is blocking factory updates, I dont see anything after 28-Jan-2013 in factory[1] or after 28-Jan-2013 for built iso's[2] Something broken/failed to build? Can it be fixed ? Also is there a live-graph of packages in factory which are built/building/ready to build/failed to build ? [opensuse-factory] build - is the sl12.3.conf maintained?

Hi, I hope this mailinglist is the right place for this... I was starting to build my own packages (without obs) for 12.3 today, but sadly there are several things I had to change in the sl12.3.conf of the build tool to get it start building. Is nobody using this build-scripts to create packages? Or am I doing something wrong? Hi, I have submitted darktable 1.1.3 to factory sr#154979. Although this is a version upgrade this is mainly a bug fix release and no new features are added. In fact, the manual in the doc subpackage is still 1.1.2. Since darktable is a leaf package , no other package depends on darktable, it would be nice to have a bug free ( or with less bugs ) darktable version in the 12.3. [opensuse-factory] Zypper dup does not show result.

Just found that in case of zypper dup there is no information line in case that there is nothing to update. Forgot the usual line. Hi, I have just upgraded to factory-snapshot with zypper dup - 12.3 RC1 (?). Now I have a lot of entries in my ~/.xsession-errors like (DEBUG-3136 /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/fcitx-4.2.7/src/frontend/ipc/ipc.c:920) KeyRelease=0 state=0 KEYCODE=36 KEYSYM=65293 (DEBUG-3136 /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/fcitx-4.2.7/src/frontend/ipc/ipc.c:920) KeyRelease=1 state=0 KEYCODE=36 KEYSYM=65293 I suspect 2 per key press, resulting that the file becomes *quite* big. Is this a specific problem of my setup, or is somebody else seeing this, too? BTW: happy chinese new year. What are the maintenance costs? - normally, this shoud be a one time effort, as long as the gstreamer build system does not change and gstreamer stays at "GST_1.0". Would an upstream patch change this situation? (Also asking because inkscape has a similar problem with poppler. Direct use of libpoppler (opposed to its qt, glib, ... wrappers) is discouraged by poppler, but necessary in this specific case. popplers ABI changes frequently).
