Hey, It's unfortunate, but due to a late update of xulrunner in 11.4, gnome-shell is broken by default in openSUSE 11.4. The fix is rather simple (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=676079 -- an update of gjs), but the online update is not out yet. Since that's something that is mentioned in the marketing materials we discuss, people will ask (and are already asking) about this. Hi all, I've been using a modified package of glib2 for my Unity adventure as need to test a couple of patches.... From a few days ago it stopped building. I believe that the source of this issue is related to this patch[1] by Matthias Clasen which imposes pcre >= 8.11. Anyone really knows what happened ? or if we're having an update for pcre soon ? HI I just tried chmod +x rtl8192sefw.bin and then ./rtl8192sefw.bin but bash reports that it is unable to execute the binary? Any suggestions? Hi, I'd volunteer to maintain pdftk in FACTORY (I need to do this anyway for my coworkers :-) It got dropped after 11.1, and about 1000 people are maintaining their own version in some home:foobar repo, so getting it into FACTORY again seems reasonable. Gentlemen, well done ! I just updates my laptop with 'zypper in zypper ...' and it worked as far as I can tell right now. There were a few conflicts regarding libzypp, but it seems I chose the right path to resolve these. Amarok works, the new KDE mixer is a good step forward, but compared to pavucontrol not quite there yet. texlive-2010 works for me as well. Last "zypper dup" synced the guest machine to "11.4 Celadon", afterwards I noticed a SMOLT activation request which I decided to enable, but this has stopped immediately since HAL was not activated nor present on the fresh update as "zypper info hal" confirmed.
