Dear fellow Geekos, if you have worked with our bugzilla, you will likely have seen my OBS-bugzilla-bot[1] in action. The original goal was to make it easier to find what fix was applied for an issue and to notify of progress. Now, prompted by https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226010#c1 I wondered if it would be worth to notify about SRs to devel projects as well, because they are also a significant indicator of progress. Setting rd.kiwi.allow_plymouth will keep plymouth active in the initrd including all effects that might have to the available consoles. This is related to bsc#1214824 - Drop use of obsolete tool isconsole isconsole was provided with the dropped kiwi-tools package. It was a simple C application that checked the capabilities of the current console. In the context of fbiterm it was just used to provide proper error messages which fbiterm on its own did not show. Hello, I wanted to introduce two new packages to Factory: - zenith: https://github.com/bvaisvil/zenith/tree/master - lychee: https://github.com/lycheeverse/lychee I think both would be nice additions to the already rich package base, besides both being written in one of my favorite languages, Rust :-))) The submission request will come in between this evening and tomorrow morning.
