Wallpaper changed after update

It's me again, I have updated to factory and after the next boot my wallpaper was changed to default (nice!). However it is that nice, it was not supposed to be that way. Is something changed about the settings of KDE (means: is it normal that that happens) or is there something wrong? comment: I updated with y2pmsh and not with Yast2-"Upgrade Computer" or whatever it is called. Q: locate single RPM on opensuse

Hi, I failed to find my patch from opensuse.org to downloading a specific package. I hoped to find the information needed (URL) in en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories, but failed. I suggest to add a search function for "locate software package" or a table (probably quite huge) with all current (=included) packages. I don't want to download whole ISO images to try a single package. Maybe I'm just too dumb to solve this problem. Anyone who can help? Regards, Ulrich

Hello, I see, that updates for 10.1 appeared on mirrors. I have some questions about it: - is this for beta8 or for factory? With factory they fail to install... - is it possible to chose a mirror during installation? I would prefer to use 192.168.X.X, my local update mirror instead of a randomly chosen mirror which needs my ADSL to get downloaded... I can't find your answer any more, but could it be solved before release, that one does not have to fix dependency problems one-by-one? ssh protocol 1 not disabled

Hi, I just wanted to ask why ssh protocol 1 is still enabled in standard installation? kernel differences between factory and beta8

After I installed beta8 from CDs, I added factory as install source and tried to install ndiswrapper. The interesting part is that either ndiswrapper-kmp-default and ndiswrapper-kmp-smp can't be installed with the kernel that comes with beta8 (kernel-default-2.6.16_rc6_git1-4), so it asks me to install kernel-default-2.6.16-5). Is this supposed to be that way? AFAIK, "git" is some "unnoficial" kernel. Why did that came with beta8. hi i use suse 10.1 beta 8 because i have some trouble with 10, surely my motherboard asus a8n-vm... now that work fine i search a place to get rpm for suse 10.1.... i need tomcat, java and eclipse thanks
