Hello, I create pngs with pyhton Pillow. Since a recent update imagemagick display shows my pngs transparently (black is transparent). However, it should know that the images have no alpha channel (identify is like display from imagemagick) identify cantilever_vts_80.png cantilever_vts_80.png PNG 719x719 719x719+0+0 8-bit sRGB 27241B 0.000u 0:00.000 The image is properly displayed with gimp and gwenview. Since a few I've reported this failure of NetworkManager https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1081430 I've 100% segv if I try to connect to any openvpn defined connection (using plain openvpn --config work perfectly). I'm using plasma5 (xorg with nvidia) as main desktop. [opensuse-factory] Installation image bootability report

First time I have not been able to boot openSUSE ISOs copied (using dd of DVD ISO image) to a USB stick for a long time: On a 2017 LG Gram 15 laptop, in the F10 boot menu: 1. Latest Leap: not recognised as a bootable device. 2. Latest Tumbleweed: recognised, but does not boot, immediately re-displays boot menu. 3. Ubuntu 17.10 - no problem, even took care of disabling Secure Boot quite smoothly. 4. Fedora 27 Workstation - booted and installed with no problem (after the successful Ubuntu installation.) Unfortunately there were no diagnostic messages or logs that I could see, so not sure how to troubleshoot this. Advice and suggestions are welcome. Hello >opensuse-factory] Leap 15.0 Build 139.1 released! Great news- so I decided to update Leap 15.0 on my dual boot (Leap 15 / Leap 42.3) machine My Leap 15 installation was up to date last night. I ran the update and the first one was ~2015 packages. There was a second update of more an a thousand packages - I really didn't look as I had already updated a Leap 15.0 installation under VirtualBox. Question : How can I find out the version of Leap 15.0 I that I am currently running ? I know I should google but it is close to bed time :) Running "cat /etc/os-release" returns the following.... A January 2018 release of qemu initially addressed this issue by exposing the feature for all x86 vcpu types, which was the quick and dirty approach, but not the proper solution. We remove that initial patch and now rely on the upstream solution. This update instead defines spec_ctrl and ibpb cpu feature flags as well as new cpu models which are clones of existing models with either -IBRS or -IBPB added to the end of the model name. These new vcpu models explicitly include the new feature(s), whereas the feature flags can be added to the cpu parameter as with other features. In short, for continued Spectre v2 protection, ensure that either the appropriate cpu feature flag is added to the QEMU command-line, or one of the new cpu models is used. Although migration from older versions is supported, the new cpu features won't be properly exposed to the guest until it is restarted with the cpu features explicitly added. A reboot is insufficient. A warning patch is added which attempts to detect a migration from a qemu version which had the quick and dirty fix (it only detects certain cases, but hopefully is helpful.) s390x guest vulnerability to Spectre v2 is also addressed in this update by including support for bpb and ppa/stfle.81 features.
