[opensuse-factory] Recommending PulseAudio in the x11 or x11_opt pattern.

Hi All, On a clean install I did last week I discovered enlightenment had no sound, this was due to the missing pulseaudio-module-x11. Currently the Gnome, Mate and KDE patterns all recommend pulseaudio-module-x11 (along with several other modules) which leads me to the question is it possible to have working audio on a desktop out of the box without the pulseaudio-module-x11 package on any desktop, if not I am proposing that we move the recommends on PulseAudio into the x11 or x11_opt package (I'm open to either) if some other desktops don't require this package for audio i'm happy to add the recommends to the enlightenment pattern. [opensuse-factory] New package git-annex for Factory

Hi, I would like to see the tool "git-annex" [1] added to Factory and have prepared submission requests to accomplish that. To build git-annex in Factory, we need a whopping 53 libraries [3] to be added, too, since git-annex depends on them. All that code is developed and maintained in the devel:languages:haskell project [2]. Having git-annex is kind of a no-brainer, really. The tool is extremely useful for managing repositories of large files in a decentralized, git-like style. It's actively developed, provides regular releases, and has been stable for quite some time. Hello, good news: after a month of hunting a) spammers and b) server admins, the needed wiki extensions to prevent and delete wiki spam finally got installed and the database updated so that those extensions can work. (Done in the english wiki, the others will follow.) This means the wiki is editable again :-) It also means we now have an easy way to block spam, and can mass-delete existing spam pages. As every good news, there's also a bit of bad news - the database update cleared all cache, which means the wiki is terribly slow at the moment. BTW: If I accidently delete something that was not spam while doing the mass deletion, please tell me ;-) For those who are interested in details: - the Nuke and AbuseFilter extensions were installed - I just added the first spam filter - let's see how it works out (and tell me if it accidently produces false positives [1]) - I just started to delete all the spam. If someone has admin permissions on the english wiki and wants to help, head over to https://en.opensuse.org/Special:Nuke and enter something like %1_8% as page title search term. If you have just upgraded tumbleweed to the latest snapshot, and GDM/Gnome both fail to start, you will have to reinstall gnome-related packages: rpm -qa --qf '%{name}\n' | grep gnome | xargs sudo zypper in -f And gnome will start again! Hello, I'm moving my few python scripts form python 2.7 to python 3.5 but Tumbleweed does not provide any SQL connector in python 3 so I'm using pip to download and install pymysql 0.7. There is any problem with pymysql 0.7 that blocks it's packaging?
