Libedit has a problem with apache2. Apache2 used to work but now fails libedit0-3.0.snap20090923-2.4.i586 Another question why is it that rpm -q libedit find nothing. As well as every other combination of to libedit0-3.0.snap20090923-2.4.i58 fail with " is not installed " but rpm -qa | grep libedit " is found. [opensuse-factory] QT 4.6.1, pretty please?

Hi, would it be possible to finally update QT to version 4.6.1 in FACTORY? It's pretty embarassing to get every single bug that I filed upstream in KDE bugzilla closed with "fixed a long time ago in QT 4.6.1". I understand that KDE bugreports are not really wanted in novell bugzilla and that we should report upstream, but I need an environment that enables me to do a good upstream report. Hi. If i´d like to add some annoying bugs on wiki to prevent repeated/unnecessary reporting bugs, how is the procedure? This article is under review. The contents are currently being evaluated and edited by User:Jonathan_R. Others should not make any changes. Or can i add the most annoying bugs in M1 myself? Hey Group; I must be one of the only people that uses a non graphic bootup. Due to this error on several machines I am letting you know because it is a very simple fix. Goto /etc/udev/rules.d and change SYSFS to ATTR. It will solve bunches of /var/log/warn errors. Hi, I'm in the process of testing the first DVD builds, so far it looks okayish for the first milestone. The list of known bugs will be longish, but we have to start somewhere. The last factory live cds that built are almost a week old and I had to remove 3 languages to free space for the grown software all around - we need to reevaluate later if we want to readd languages or rather keep the programs. Michl just started evaluating 11.3 features, as in the past please help by looking around in the feature list and vote for and against those you want to see - but please leave out comments with simple math statements. [opensuse-factory] recovery system enhancement

Hello, I want to know if this is worth a new bugzilla entry (may be it's already on the air) Saturday, during an installation demo, I had an install failure (11.2, demo openSUSE dvd, 64 bits). The reason of the failure is unidentified (probably a read error on the medium), but this is not relevant here. The result was, as far as I can see, a complete install *but* the system files: passwd and shadow. The /etc/passwd file existed but empty. there where two example files passwd.xx. No recovery system was able to recover from this. I didn't want to set the files myself by hand because there was no "root" user in the example files and so I didn't know for sure what he system config was and didn't want to make a flacky system. A second install succeed. But this was a nearly one hour work; Looks like the second stage YaST run was not completed (the one after the only reboot). Could it be possible to add on the recovery system this YaST install stage?
