Hello, A recent zypper dup removed the gpg2 package from my system (I have no idea why). [opensuse-factory] X broke in 10.3?

I have an HP Compaq nc6220 laptop display resolution 1400x1050. Intel GMA900 graphics. I praised SuSE always in previous releases because it was the only distribution that correctly supported the resolution out of the box with no hacks needed. Now in 10.3 it broke. To make the resolution work each time I reload x server I need to use RandR to set the resolution. It defaults to 1152x786 58hz. When I run SaX test it also says "Screen (0) 1152 x 786" however everything is configured right. [opensuse-factory] Publishing to non-oss repository?

Hello, What's the procedure to submit and publish a package to openSUSE official non-oss repository? Anyone specific to contact? The package is for a line of astronomy CCD cameras and filter wheels manufactured by SBIG, it includes a binary library and firmware for the camera. Redistribution is allowed and the RPM is ready for i586 and x86_64 platforms. [opensuse-factory] Update a non active factory installation

I'am using a 10.3 installation for working and a factory installation for playing. To be up to date , the first thing I have to do when booting factory, is to run the update. But often this lasts 2 hours and then there is no time to play with factory any more :-(. My idea is now, to run the update for factory in the background when running the 10.3 installation. The steps, I've done so far is mount the factory installation to /mnt , do a mount --bind /mnt/etc/zypp /etc/zypp to make zypper using the factory configuration and then running "zypper -R /mnt -t package" . That works for most packages , but there a some failures in post install scripts.
