Fedora 8 name --> opensuse name redland-devel --> libredland-devel raptor-devel --> libraptor-devel rasqal-devel --> librasqal-devel These three packages are also in Fedora 7 updates so a mapping would be nice there too. How does one add F7 updates to their build dependence's for a fedora 7 package?

Building a package that uses FUSE I get this error on Fedora builds; have choice for kernel >= 2.6.14 needed by fuse: kernel-debug kernel-PAE-debug kernel-PAE kernel kernel-xen Trying to keep opensuse 10.3 happy by adding with BuildRequires: kernel-binary-packages which allows the 586 opensuse package to build but then the fedora build fails with expansion errors; nothing provides kernel-default, nothing provides kernel-smp, nothing provides kernel-bigsmp, nothing provides kernel-um, nothing provides kernel-kdump Perhaps some sort of "default" choice for the fedora map to just 'kernel' ?

[opensuse-buildservice] osc build does not detect a repository change

Hello, the osc build command does not detect a change in repository: When I do osc build openSUSE_10.3 i586 qgis.spec and afterwards osc build Fedora_Extras_6 i586 qgis.spec the result will be lots of problems and warnings. Afterwards with a second cann the corrupt setup is detected and deleted. This should happen with first call. Also I get following errors lately: ... Updating etc/group...unchanged Updating etc/shadow...new initializing rpm db... reordering...Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi/Scalar/Util.pm line 30. ... Hi, I tried to compile the package hipo, wich is a iPod management tool, and i get this error during the compilation on OBS: checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.97352 (%build) RPM build errors: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.97352 (%build) mount: can't find / in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab md: stopping all md devices. xenbus_dev_shutdown: device/console/0: Initialising != Connected, skipping System halted. my home project is "barravince112" What's happened? Hi, I added Fedora_8 to my project and try to disable it for some builds using the webinterface. I always get "ERROR Your flag configuration seems to be too complex to be saved through this interface. Please use OSC." Seems the webinterface is not able to do so (the configuration is not complex as it tells in the error message). BTW: Please change the webinterface - Now it first enables and second disables the repository. The cycle should be: Globally disabled: enable -- disable -- default Globally enabled: disable -- enable -- default i.e. always do the most-wanted first. Hi, background: For the mozilla repository I'm using the Java based repositories since mozilla-xulrunner builds a java xpcom component and therefore needs a JDK. Just now we noticed that this breaks 1-click-install on software.opensuse.org because YaST is trying to add http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Java:/Sun-Java-1.5/openSUSE_10.3/ what is no valid repository. Since that is a kind of a special repo it needs to be handled correctly and for example add the non-oss repo which contains Java. [opensuse-buildservice] Version numbers and Substitute: libXerces-c-devel

Hi, I'm now trying to build a package with the new libXerces-c-devel substitute mapping. Does substitute support version numbers? It will build with a BuildRequires: libXerces-c-devel but BuildRequires: libXerces-c-devel >= 2.7.0 produces this error; Getting buildinfo from server buildinfo is borken... it says: expansion error: nothing provides libXerces-c-devel >= 2.7.0 It would be nice to still be able to stipulate version numbers when using subst packages.
