Hello All,
I'm running a private instance and I'd like to enable networking on my
workers so they can build some java apps, via maven, which need to
download pom's/war's from the net. I ask google but he wasn't much
help so I'm hoping someone here can help;-)
How can I go about doing this?

I try to add a new board to openSUSE:Factory:ARM. I did this already in
the past and for doing that I had to modify the JeOS package and add
links to it with JeOS-<boardname>. Those links are no more in
openSUSE:Factory:ARM, instead of this the JeOS package contains now a
"_multibuild" file, which is generated by the pre_checkin.sh script. I
added my board to pre_checkin.sh. But how to trigger now the build of my
new added board image instead of the native JeOS image?
In the past I just called "osc build factory armv7l" in the
JeOS-<boardname> linked package to build it local, and I committed it to
my work project to build it in obs.
osc --version
0.155.0

I have two patches for review:
1. Fix a problem with different names - OBS package name and RPM name
described in the spec-file.
For example: OBS package name 'linaro-gcc', but name of rpm is 'gcc'.
2. Change a scheduler mechanism. The build of non-cyclic packets wait
the builds of cyclic packets.
This has some advantages: reduce time of project build, reducing number
of packages rebuilds.
I tested the patches on the project with 129 packages (41 cyclic) - the
build time was reduced by ~33%.
I would like to know your opinion about the patches.

Hi,
the openSUSE OBS generates a top level repo path:to:prj.repo, but a locally
installed OBS 2.8 does not (out of the box).
Ho do I archive this?
Cheers,
Pete

Hi,
I'm trying to build some packages locally on fedora 26, but they all
fail like this:
[ 9s] [55/56] preinstalling rpm-libs...
[ 10s] [56/56] preinstalling rpm-sign...
[ 10s]
[ 10s] running libcrypt postinstall script
[ 10s] initializing rpm db...
[ 10s] error: Failed to initialize NSS library
[ 10s]
[ 10s] void.eijk.nu failed "build python-xlsx2csv.spec" at Fri Jul
28 08:28:45 UTC 2017.
FC26 builds on build.opensuse.org do work:
https://build.opensuse.org/build/home:stefan_van_der_eijk/Fedora_26/x86_64/…
What's the difference between a local build and one on opensuse?
with kind regards, / met vriendelijke groet,
Stefan van der Eijk

Hi,
I'm using dnsmasq from the SLES 12 SP1 repo on my central service host,
and I did not succeed in activating DNSSEC.
Looking at the SPEC file, I see that it adds a line HAVE_DNSSSEC to
src/config.h, what should be sufficient to add DNSSEC support.
But "dnsssec --version" shows "... no-DNSSEC ...". Also the correspondig
lines HAVE_DBUS, HAVE_CONNTRACK, HAVE_IDN result in "no-..."
How can I activate DNSSEC support in dnsmasq? Adding "--dnsssec" and
"--trust-anchor=..." on the command line or adding "dnssec" and
"trust-anchor=..." in /etc/dnsmasq.conf prevents dnsmasq from starting.

I am probably remembering incorrectly, but didn't it used to be
possible to download items in a package via the web interface to OBS?
In the Actions column, there was an icon to delete or download the
item. Now I only see a Delete icon. I know I can download the whole
source RPM (provided it has been able to build...). But the ability to
download a specific file was useful. Or am I remembering incorrectly?

Hi,
in order to build a current kernel, a number of constraints must be matched.
e.g. Kernel:stable/kernel-source
I reduced the number of cores in the _contraints file to 4 already.
I tried to adjust /etc/sysconfig/obs-server accordingly, but OBS still fails
the builds due to unmatched constraints.
OBS_VM_DISK_AUTOSETUP_ROOT_FILESIZE="81920"
OBS_INSTANCE_MEMORY="10240"
The OBS server has 12 Cores/80 GB Ram and 6 local workers (the VM had 8 cores
initially).
Do I need anything else to adjust, or am I missing something else, again?

Hi,
I've created a standard OBS DoD instance for build.opensuse.org on my private
OBS, using the Interconnect. Nice'n'Easy.
Copying a project with osc went fine, but now I need to define a build targets
(Repositories).
Might somebody share the proper values for a usual build target like
openSUSE_Leap_42.2 (Url, Arch. Filter, Master Url), as well as share how to
discover the SSL Fingerprint/Public Key values for some such?
TIA,
Pete

uh, looks like a bug indeed....
anyway, you should be able to reach it by going to
http://$your_host/configuration
manually
