[opensuse-buildservice] OBS Appliance - Unable to Update

I am running OBS Appliance 2.8.2 on VMware ESX. When the appliance boots I get an error "Failed to start LSB: Finds the storage device to be used for OBS server and/or worker." I have included a dump of systemctl status obsstoagesetup.service below. I Just want to confirm if this is normal or should be addressed. I also attempted and update of a clone of my appliance via zypper but 2 GB root drive is not sufficient for upgrades. Update begins but end with "Error Code: Write Error". I checked root drive and it was up to 100% utilization from 93% prior to update. I decided to install latest version of OBS appliance over existing install. New appliance adopts my old setting but now I am getting and error on boot "Failed to start LSB: open build service source service server." In addition I am unable to build rpms in this current state. Not sure what to do next to get the cloned appliance to build a package. [opensuse-buildservice] Keys missing for Fedora 25/26/27 and Rawhide

Hi guys, can it be that the public keys for Fedora 25/26/27 and Rawhide are not setup correctly on the OBS? I get "public key not available" errors when building locally. Not sure if this is a local issue or to be fixed on the OBS, because I find mails stating both... Kind Regards, Johannes

[opensuse-buildservice] Building with EPEL packages

Hi, Is there any way to build RedHat/CentOS packages with build dependencies pulled in from EPEL on the openSUSE OBS? I see the answer has been no in the past [1][2][3][4], but in 2014 there was some suggestion that the Download-on-Demand support might make this easier. The reason I'm not just copying the SRPMs and rebuilding them is that the available version of CMake requires a newer CMake than is available in RHEL/CentOS 5/6 to build, so I haven't worked how to bootstrap it properly yet - perhaps I will need an intermediate version from an older release of EPEL. [opensuse-buildservice] Branched package meta configuration

Hi all, When you branch a package to your home project in OBS the repository information in meta configuration is copied. However, the build settings are not copied by default. Is there way to branch a package while maintaining the build configuration? Looking at osc branch there's an option `--add-repositories` which mentions, "happens by default when project is new". [opensuse-buildservice] Build Internet-dependent packages on ArchLinux

Hey everyone, I didn't touch OBS for a while (some months) but, as far as I remember, networking was not enabled within the builder; for ArchLinux sources, I could have some tricks (using a donwload service to fetch the sources and patch the PKGBUILD), but it would not work for Node.js/npm based packages. As now I would like to package some software which would use Node.js and pip, I have (I suppose) the same problem again. Is there any *proper* way to handle this? If yes, how? [opensuse-buildservice] gcc-c++ not available at build

Hi, Has gcc-c++ been removed as one of the automatically included dependencies at build time in OBS? A large number of packages in devel:languages:R:released are now failing to build due to g++ no longer being available, and we've changed nothing in the R-base-devel package Requires which they all rely on. [opensuse-buildservice] Building a Python package

I am trying to build a rather simple python package on OBS. It is the backports of some Python 3 functions for use with Python 2. I thought I would package it like a simple python package. But I guess that's not the way one should package a backport package.
