[opensuse-buildservice] Centos build stuck with "downloading 6 dod packages"

Hi, I am trying to build a package for CentOS that requires some packages from epel + the developer toolset to be built. I added the repositories in the project meta configuration - which looks like this: <repository name="CentOS_7"> <path project="security:zeek" repository="CentOS_7"/> <path project="Fedora:EPEL:7" repository="standard"/> <path project="CentOS:CentOS-7" repository="scl-rhscl"/> <path project="CentOS:CentOS-7" repository="standard"/> <arch>x86_64</arch> </repository> The spec file then require some packages from the repository, speficically: BuildRequires: epel-release kernel-devel cmake3 devtoolset-7 After trying this, the build has been blocked with the status “downloading 6 dod packages”. Could anyone point me to what I am doing wrong? [opensuse-buildservice] AlpineLinux and OBS

This is just to raise the question to simply initiate a discussion, why not have AlpineLinux on OBS too? On the positive side, it should be relatively easy to adapt since it is really rather similar to Arch, which is already supported on OBS, but simpler. On the other hand, unlike Arch, it also has 6 month releases that are supported for 2 years. I do appreciate those would accumulate over time. It also has a lot more architectures supported. So I do appreciate that it could also become a maintenance time sink in OBS. Also, I have no sense of the real size of the AlpineLinux using community, and I suspect most use it from the docker and container perspective, which is a valid and potential community that could benefit from OBS. [opensuse-buildservice] broken builds due to "interconnect error: rpc timeout" with PMBS

Hi, I stumbled across broken builds in a local OBS due to "interconnect error: rpc timeout" for packages, that link to PMBS. PMBS is setup as: <project name="Packman"> <title>Packman Build Service PMBS</title> <description>This instance can be used to access resources from Packman.</ description> <remoteurl>https://pmbs-api.links2linux.de/public</remoteurl> </project> OBS is fully updated from OBS:/Server:/2.10/openSUSE_15.1. The magic spell, that comes closest to mitigate the issue *ought* to be: obs_admin --recheck-dod https://pmbs-api.links2linux.de or obs_admin --recheck-dod https://pmbs-api.links2linux.de/public but even after creating the missing /srv/obs/dods directory, things still misbehave. Is this a PMBS issue, a local configuration issue, or something completely different?!? [opensuse-buildservice] does $BSConfig::notification_plugin still do anything?

Hi all, running OBS 2.10 I wanted to try to build a simple notification plugin that just logs all notifications to a file (to be extended later...). However, It seems to get never called at all. src/backend/BSSrcServer/Notify.pm has the following comment: # this is called from the /notify_plugins route that the API calls for all # events (no matter the origin) if the API is configured to do so. # sub notify_plugins($$) { But I am unable to find where to configure this? [opensuse-buildservice] Support for SLE 12 SP5 as a build target

Hello, I noticed that SLE 12 SP5 is now available on download.suse.com. With this in mind, does anyone know when SLE 12 SP5 will be added to the list of build targets? E.g., https://build.opensuse.org/project/add_repository_from_default_list/<homeproject> shows other released SLE versions, but not SLE 12 SP5. Hopefully it will be added soon? [opensuse-buildservice] OpenSUSE Build Service seems down?

Hey, It seems that the openSUSE Build Service is down? My local OBS instance's builds stopped working as api.opensuse.org is now returning nothing or timing out. Visiting build.opensuse.org results in timeouts. Anyone know what's going on and when service will be restored? [opensuse-buildservice] multibuild flavor vs package

Hi, Trying to figure out a way to use multibuild for mingw packages. The challenge there is that almost all packages need to be built for 32bit as well as 64bit Windows. So currently we have mingw32-foo and mingw64-foo packages. With exactly identical spec files except for s/mingw64/mingw32/ and vice versa. So sounds like a job for multibuild with flavors mingw32 and mingw64 to produce those packages from a common mingw-foo package. Now there are also packages that have multiple spec files though like gcc and pkgconf. Looks like that case was somehow forseen for multibuild as there are 'flavor' and 'package' tags. In the end both are treated the same though and end up as @BUILD_FLAVOR@ in spec files. Are there any plans to change that? So one could write something like <multibuild> <flavor>mingw64</flavor> <flavor>mingw32</flavor> <package>mingw-gcc</package> <package>mingw-cross-gcc</package> <package>mingw-cross-gcc-bootstrap</package> </multibuild> to produce six packages? Short of that would it work to have both links and multibuild?
