Hi,
just wanted to ask if/when you are planning to add RHEL 8?
As of https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2019/05/07/red-hat-enterprise-linux-8-no…
RHEL 8 was released on May 7, 2019

Hi,
I am new and trying local build on s390x with SLE_12_SP3 using the
following command
sudo osc build
but I get the public key not available for many packages. You can see
the output by clicking the following link
https://pastebin.com/YBQk3vGe
I know that I can use --noverify option to bypass this and builds
complete successfully when I use --noverify option but how can I fix
this? What will happen if I don't fix it?

Friends,
the OBS team, together with many of you, has developed and beta-tested a
new, more modern, user interface for the last couple of months. And
today we are beginning to roll it out for everybody!
Expect the OBS web user interface to change for you in the coming days,
if it has not already.
As always, please keep in touch and give us your feedback over IRC, this
list or in case of problems, via github issues.

Hi,
I recently noticed some strange discrepancy of the downloadable packages that were created after building:
The size/checksum of the rpm file on download.opensuse.org does not match the metadata that is recorded in the repository's primary.xml.gz
E.g:
When downloading
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_29/x86_64/e…
The resulting size is 622240 bytes and the sha256sum is eb77ce147162cd3ab9a997e31b865b3e22f7457327f12eac202e6b54210a4547
However in the corresponding
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_29/repodata…
The size is recorded as 622248 and the sha256 as 11524992b6ca3bc8f2bc0b7f82c0c3875c1c9ca3f87e8b9072cce2bff2331466
Obviously, dnf complains when attempting to install or update the package.
I rebuilt the affected packages, but this did not help.
Any clues?
Thanks

Dear list,
On my CentOS_7 builds on build.opensuse.org the
%python3_sitelib/%python3_sitearch macros do not work anymore:
-bash-4.2$ rpmspec -E '%python3_sitelib'
sh: /usr/bin/python3.6: No such file or directory
-bash-4.2$ rpmspec -E '%python3_sitearch'
sh: /usr/bin/python3.6: No such file or directory
The correct binary would be python3.4
In the job history I see that there was a meta change at April 04, 2019
18:58 and the builds failed from this time on, e.g.:
https://build.opensuse.org/packages/python3-psutil/job_history/home:sebix:i…https://build.opensuse.org/packages/python3-imbox/job_history/home:sebix:in…
I guess that this is a configuration error, but I am not sure where (and
by whom) this can be fixed.
Sebastian
Hi,
the scheduler suddenly stopped working. Instead of constantly checking all projects it just writes a wait message to the log:
setting up watcher for https://api.opensuse.org/public, start=184677967
2019-07-29 10:53:59: [2038] waiting for an event...
Restarting the service and the server did not help. I cannot see what the problem is.
All changed packages stay in state "scheduled".

Mark

Hi
today I updated our private instance from Leap 42.3 -> 15.0 -> 15.1 and
also updated the OBS repositories to 2.10
However I cannot access the webfrontend page.
in the apache2 error.log I see:
Warning: DocumentRoot [/srv/www/obs/api/public] does not exist
I cann access the indexed repos on port 82 though.
Any suggestion on where to poke?

Hi
I recently updated our instance from Leap 42.3 to 15.1 and OBS from 2.9
to 2.10.
Everything seemed to work smoothly. However now people are complaining
that the debian and ubuntu Release files.
This only affect repositories that contain newly build packages since
the uprade.
obssigner and obssignd are running. the signer.log only contains:
2019-07-24 12:40:14: [8356] signer started
waiting for an event...
Any suggestion on where to look at ?
Thanks

I have been using OBS and osc for some time at a basic user level. I
build projects locally using osc before committing to OBS. All works
fine for Leap 15.0 and 15.1, Fedora 29 & 30 and Debian_9.0.
I have just started building for Debian_10, all I did was
osc build --ccache Debian_10
and whilst the projects build successfully with osc, each time I build
I get the message:- 100.0% cache miss. 0/180 dependencies cached. and
all packages are downloaded again. On inspection in the Debian_10
package cache directory the filenames are odd, they all have b'
prepended and inserted. For example:- b'adduser'_b'3.118'_b'all'.deb As
opposed to the same package in the Debian_9.0 directory of:-
adduser_3.115_all.deb
I have now experimented by deleting the working Debian_9.0 package
cache and re-building the project and the same thing happens, project
builds OK but all the package names are now corrupted.
The package cache directory has correct ownership.
osc --version is 0.165.1
Distribution is Leap 15.1
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I am currently having lots of broken packages due to missing locales
in the ArchLinux chroot, as you can see here:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/home:ItachiSan:archlinux
I am currently repackaging the sources using the *tar* service, which
expects the locale *en_US.UTF-8* to be available which actually is
not, if my code debugging from:
https://github.com/openSUSE/obs-service-tar_scm
and the broken build logs are correct.
The solution would be to add the proper locale to the chroot.
Can someone solve this?
I can create an issue on Github/OBS, if needed.
