Hi,
recently there was a conversation about image builds in obs
which fails because the kernel-obs-build package had no support
for device mapper modules. The issue was fixed and it worked
for some time. Now the issue is back and the integration tests
for building images using dm modules as for luks and raid
again fails. For details see:
osc rbl Virtualization:Appliances:Images:Testing_x86:tumbleweed test-im=

Could you check on the kernel-obs-build state and maybe fix
this again ?
Thanks much
Regards,
Marcus

We are seeing the following issues with our local OBS that pulls from openSUSE.org servers:
nothing provides glibc(x86-64) = 2.28-189.1.el8 needed by glibc-gconv-extra, (got version 2.28-189.5.el8_6 provided by glibc), nothing provides glibc-common = 2.28-189.1.el8 needed by glibc-gconv-extra, (got version 2.28-189.5.el8_6)
It appears the problem is that glibc now has el8_6 in the new updated RPM and that might be causing the issues?
Is anyone else seeing this?

Almost all failed packages there are due to the VMs becoming read-only.. is there something we should be doing differently on our end?

I have added <obs_url>https://MYSERVER</obs_url> and <download_url>https://MYSERVER/repos</download_url> to my on-prem OBS config. "osc repourls" returns https://MYSERVER/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo, but when I click on "Go to download repository" link, then I get "404: Not Found". On my server I can find the /srv/obs/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo file. Please advise.
Hello,
I'm currently attempting to build a package on Ubuntu 22.04, but am
seeing the following error in the log:
[ 1s] /srv/obs/worker/root_15/.init_b_cache/rpms/base-files.deb: control.tar is not second ar entry
[ 1s] bad binary: base-files.deb
Any idea what this is about?

Yeah, that is why i mentioned documentation as one of the three most important
parts that should be mentioned on the openSUSE web page here: [1]. But i guess
nobody cares or noticed that, since the thread got massively off-topic.

Is there anything we are missing or doesn't OBS 2.10 support Ubuntu 22.04?
