How to change my e-mail address for build.o.o

There are several threads asking this very same question. The latest I found was this one: https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/buildservice@lists.opensuse.org/th…. However I still do not find an answer to that question. What I tried: - Going to my profile on build.o.o and edit my profile: The e-mail address is not editable. - Change the user meta via `osc meta user -e letsfindaway`: Does not change anything. - Login to Micro Focus and try to edit my profile there: The e-mail address is not editable. So what is the way to change the e-mail address listed on my profile in build.o.o and used to send e-mail notifications? Thanks for any insights and pointers! Martin

[opensuse-buildservice] Add external source to a package?

Hello, I want to update the package ja2-stracciatella in the games repository to version 0.17.0. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:Kieltux:branches:games/ja2-str… The new version needs the library string_theory which is not available for openSUSE. The build process wants to download string_theory from github, because it is not found. Ubuntu 22.04 Build Failing

Hello, I'm currently attempting to build a package on Ubuntu 22.04, but am seeing the following error in the log: [ 1s] /srv/obs/worker/root_15/.init_b_cache/rpms/base-files.deb: control.tar is not second ar entry [ 1s] bad binary: base-files.deb Any idea what this is about? Kyle

Please add AlmaLinux9 to OBS

Title says it all :-D I need it for my Hack Week project (if you can add openEuler as Raul requested, that would be great) The list of repositories is different from what AlmaLinux8 had. CentOS 8 Unresolvable today?

We are seeing the following issues with our local OBS that pulls from openSUSE.org servers: nothing provides glibc(x86-64) = 2.28-189.1.el8 needed by glibc-gconv-extra, (got version 2.28-189.5.el8_6 provided by glibc), nothing provides glibc-common = 2.28-189.1.el8 needed by glibc-gconv-extra, (got version 2.28-189.5.el8_6) It appears the problem is that glibc now has el8_6 in the new updated RPM and that might be causing the issues? Is anyone else seeing this? adding a debian repository from open build service

Hi, I try to add my home project's repo to a debian installation and did: sudo add-apt-repository https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/behrisch/Debian_11/ sudo apt update and got the following error: apt update Hit:1 http://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye InRelease Hit:2 http://security.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security InRelease Hit:3 http://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye-updates InRelease Ign:4 https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/behrisch/Debian_11 bullseye InRelease Err:5 https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/behrisch/Debian_11 bullseye Release 404 Not Found [IP: 195.135.221.134 443] Reading package lists... Done E: The repository 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/behrisch/Debian_11 bullseye Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details. The repository has a Release file and I can also retrieve it (using wget for instance). Reading the apt-secure manpage I thought it might be an issue with authentication but "apt update --allow-unauthenticated" gives the same error. I also tried it with ubuntu with the same results. download_url and 404: Not Found

I have added <obs_url>https://MYSERVER</obs_url> and <download_url>https://MYSERVER/repos</download_url> to my on-prem OBS config. "osc repourls" returns https://MYSERVER/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo, but when I click on "Go to download repository" link, then I get "404: Not Found". On my server I can find the /srv/obs/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo file. Please advise.

How to configure build failure notification mails in self-hosted OBS

Hi all, I'm interested in how to enable failed build notification emails in a self-hosted OBS installation. I tried RTFM but couldn't find anything about this topic in the administration guide at https://openbuildservice.org/help/manuals/obs-admin-guide/ Do I have to run a local MTA on the OBS master itself? Or can I somehow configure a SMTP host (+ credentials for authenticated SMTP) ? Thanks in advance. Might be worth adding a sentence about this to the manual, too. Hi, I'm playing around with qemu crossbuild for aarch64, or better trying to get it to work, but that would be another mail.
