[opensuse-buildservice] Substitute mapping for Fedora 7 / 8

Could the following mapping be added for F7/F8? Assuming subst: opensuse-pkg-name fedora-pkg-name... Substitute: libXerces-c-devel xerces-c-devel there doesn't appear to be an xalan-c for f7 or f8, atleast in the base repos. I'm not sure if it would hurt to add a similar mapping for xalan-c though, alteast it would be somewhat future proof if it gets added to f7updates etc or is included in f9.

[opensuse-buildservice] Something wrong with scheduler?

Hi all While using the Web UI, I have modified a .spec file and my project has moved to 'scheduled' status, however it seems to be stuck there. The OBS Status page meanwhile shows that there are only 6 running jobs, and 93 of 99 hosts are idle. What's wrong here? froh: * working on the obs package cleanup and update packaged files got submitted to svn below the .../buildservice/dist/ directory. Working on a script to do the "make dist" task automatically for reproducable releasing of build service packages. rlihm: * in bugfixing and icon drawing mode. * continue to work on usability mockups later this week. jcborn: * facing a problem that YaST does install the package from any repository, but not from the one specified in ymp. AI: jcborn create bugreport to add functionality in YaST to specifify the package install from certain repository. ro: * We will have quite soon a public beta testing for official openSUSE updates. All packages, which are not affected by an embargo from security team will get a pre testing in future and be available at http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3-testing/ (does not exist yet) abauer: * Doing bugfixes introduced with new UI and iChain email address take over. * Frontend delievers user names to the backend for source changes. * Preparing talk about build service not well known features. Talk will held at SUSE Nuernberg internally, but we will make the talk public available afterwards. mrueckert: * users.opensuse.org is online and even announced now :) 130 users have subscribed meanwhile, most people accept guiding principles. * next tasks are: - create test suite for users.opensuse.org - work on open ID provider implementation to allow authentification for external community sites as requested freitag: * Wrote OBS article for Linux Magazin * Will work on proposal how to open FATE for openSUSE mls: * got new signature hardware, which can create gpg keys for projects in future * extend sign app to create new keys on request and fix a non conform way to rpm how to handle keys. * We plan to create new gpg keys per project next week. adrian: * administration OBS - Fedora:8 import - Debian:Etch amd64 packages import - removing "illegal" content ... To be done: - init scripts lack proper boot order. - package splits and renames. jcborn: * scanner (of download redirector) bugfixing abauer: * frontend does transmit usernames to the backend now for the source history. * runtime exceptions of build.opensuse.org gets mailed to abauer now, which leads to some bug fix work. mls: * New sign daemon is running, packages are signed twice now. No complains or bugreports yet :) Open to implement: sent private key belonging to project to sign host rlihm: * work on openSUSE shop, BUT the t-shirt what coolo wears was designed by himself ! * design mockups presentation. build.o.o web design improvements ================================= Discussion about Roberts basic new design mockups. Robert wants to create personas and usecases. Discussion on ml will take place to discuss these to find out if this covers the tasks which are important for the web interfaces. [opensuse-buildservice] Building packages that require java for Ubuntu 6.06

Hi, I did set up a local build service now successfully and in general, building packages works fine. Now I tried to build the first java package which results into the following log: [...] installing g++ installing login installing dpkg-dev installing debconf-utils installing ucf Moving old data out of the way installing automake1.4 installing flex installing bash installing sun-java5-bin sun-dlj-v1-1 license could not be presented try 'dpkg-reconfigure debconf' to select a frontend other than noninteractive dpkg: error processing .init_b_cache/sun-java5-bin.deb (--install): subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 2 Errors were encountered while processing: .init_b_cache/sun-java5-bin.deb Is that only a local problem here in my installation or doesn't that work at all? The problem is, that the package want's to have the sun license accepted. [opensuse-buildservice] obsworker fails to automatically start on reboot

Im using openSUSE 10.3 32bit. Ive followed the instructions at http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/Build_Service_Installation_Tutorial/op… to setup a local build server. In Yast->System->System Services (Runlevel), I have enabled obsworker to start in runlevels 3 and 5. On rebooting the machine, the obsworker fails to start. How can I get the obsworker to start automatically after a reboot? [opensuse-buildservice] dependencies in universe

Does the buildservice not support the universe repository in xUbuntu? I have the section for my package set to "universe/net" in the debian/control file, but that doesn't seem to be enough to tell the buildservice to check universe for build-depends. [opensuse-buildservice] osc linked package expansion and patch control

Hallo. Here is a small script, which allows to edit osc link patches using quilt patch control system. It is a quick hack, but it works somehow. Hi, I have setup a box to build rpms with "build". for "x86_64" build --clean --dist sles10 --arch x86_64 --target x86_64 --jobs 4 --rpms /srv/ftp/pub/sles10/x86_64-SP1/CD:/srv/ftp/pub/sles10/x86_64-SP1/updates:/srv/ftp/pub/sles10/extras /srv/devel/courier-imap/SOURCES/courier-imap.spec for "i586" build --clean --dist sles10 --arch i586 --target i586 --jobs 4 --rpms /srv/ftp/pub/sles10/i586-SP1/CD:/srv/ftp/pub/sles10/i586-SP1/updates:/srv/ftp/pub/sles10/extras /srv/devel/courier-imap/SOURCES/courier-imap.spec and courier-authlib is needed: when building x86_64 then installing courier-authlib-0.59-6.SLES10.SIT installing courier-authlib-devel-0.59-6.SLES10.SIT but when building i586 then installing courier-authlib-0.60.2-1.SLES10.SIT installing courier-authlib-devel-0.60.2-1.SLES10.SIT the question is: why doesn't build install the newest/latest version of courier-authlib ? the 0.60.2 version for x86_64 is available, but "build" does not take it ?
