sftp broken in konqueror

I installed Leap 15.5 today. I have several computers and communicate/transfer files between them using sftp in konqueror. I have submitted a bug report but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and found a workaround or simple solution. My current workaround is to install the 15.4 files for konqueror and dolphin.

1-issue-generator not generating; 2-last login absent

I have multiple installations where I removed issue-generator for some period until I decided to reverse my attitude about it. The main idea was, and remains, I don't want to see IP addresses onscreen with VT logins. Now I have some installations where even though it has been reinstalled, login prompts on VTs are simply hostname login: on an otherwise blank screen until such time as I systemctl start issue-generator.service Also on all these installations, logging in fails to report date last logged in. Bluetooth NOW is saving transfers into OBEXD!

Hey, Wonder to advise that new Bluetooth coming with latest TW updates stopped to save thet file ransfers to the expected folder: Documents/Bluetooth and just started to place it into the /home/user/.cache/obexd folder! Please correct this in the next TW update, or even guide to correct the issue manually! Thank you! plymouth only showing for a brief second on boot

Hi, I'm struggling to get plymouth fully working on openSUSE Tumbleweed on an RPI CM4, but I'm not sure this is specific to RPI4 at all, I usually use a verbose mode without plymouth on all my other opensuse machines. I'm using a modified JeOS image from https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Raspberry_Pi4 with a seperate /boot partition and a encrypted root partition. It's supposed to show a png image during the whole boot process, but it's only show for a brief second after the LUKS partition is unlocked. On reboot however, it works perfectly. This works on Debian bookworm with the same configuration (on the same rpi), on Debian the logo is perfectly shown during the whole kernel boot process including the luks passphase. The system in question suddenly displays Blocked executable in the ESP, ensure grub and shim are up to date: /boot/efi/ EFI/grub/shim.efi Authenticode checksum [be435df7cd28aa2a7c8db4fc8173475b77e5abf392f76b7c76fa3f698cb71a9a] is present in dbx I found that it is possible that this happens if another OS was installed before, but that was not the case here. Anybody has a suggestion why this could happen? Support, on english firefox surfing the opensuse pages or opensuse wiki, it shows the english editions of the suse websites, respecting the language settings given by the firefox browser application. can I select and surf a different language of the suse pages by adding some parameter to the URL or can this be achieved in some other way than setting language settings inside the webbrowser itself? thanks.

openSUSE leap 15.6 ready for primetime already? zypper today brought in patches

Support, today or the other recent day, zypper on 15.6 brought in the first time updates that were patches. Some day or week ago there were still tons of new packages but all came via zypper up, some final refreshes or rebuilds to the final 15.6 level or so? today also came some openSUSE-release and openSUSE-release-ftp so I figure maybe we have arrived at pretty much the final release level (rtm, rtw, gold)? maybe i can push some boxes from 15.5 to 15.6 safely now? thanks all.

Do firmware files in /lib/firmware have to be compressed with xz or are they also admissible as "firmwarename.fw" type

I am having a hauppauge card for sat and digital dvbt. Hi, I am using Tumbleweed with KDE 6 on a machine here. I decide to update the machine today by passing 'zypper dup' into Konsole. After a bit the update completed and 'zypper ps -s' said there were no core libraries updated but I proceeded to powercycle the machine. After doing this the machine is stuck at the following displayed on screen > GRUB _ Can you tell me what may have happened and the steps to try to attempt to get this repaired?
