TW fish filesystem bug in dolphin. Dolphin tries to open directories such as conf.d as a regular file when clicked on. Navigating via the address bar works fine. The underlying sshfs fused filesystem is working fine i.e. F4 open terminal in Dolphin and changing directory works fine. How to reproduce: 1. Open fish://server.com/some-dir/ 2. Open directory with .d extension by clicking Expected result; directory opens in dolphin Observed result; dolphin tries to open the directory as a regular file. Regards, Ariez ajv(a)opensuse.org

Hi, I run into the above error message when I want to start an Orthanc Server in https mode. I had already contacted the author of Orthanc, and he could not reproduce this (with my config files and certificates) on Debian. So the assumption is that it is a distribution (Leap 15.3) specific issue. Log of the (manual )start as root using /usr/sbin/orthanc --verbose --trace-http --logfile=http_orthanc.log /etc/ orthanc/ https://paste.opensuse.org/92992870 What I tried: ss -tulpen does not show the port being used switch off apache (reverse proxy) switch off AppArmor Is there any openSUSE specific configuration that prevents using high ports? Dear OpenSUSE experts, I would like to recover crashed system via update from USB stick. Instalation of new version with no partition to be formated does not finish correctly but raises snapshot version. All listed errors are mkdir based Snapshot update cannot remove snapshot version= repository snapshot. All *repo files were moved from original position to backup directory to try to recover incorrect items in it Is there any solution to remove such notes from sytem? rpm managing files does not work on original system and rpm database Is there any possibility to get information about fault case and way to recover it. Update crashes with no umount od original / possible lsof in not present op the system and top, ps aux does not show me anythink usable for me. Use of devices in LXC guest

I try to use devices like /dev/net/tun (for OpenVPN) and /dev/sda in a LXC guest. Unfortunately I always get the error message "Operation not permitted". Help for a cmake Qt5 dependency

Hello! Could someone tell me if opensuse TW has a Qt5 package which resolve for me the following cmake error?? CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:895 (find_package): By not providing "FindQt5.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5", but CMake did not find one. Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5" with any of the following names: Qt5Config.cmake qt5-config.cmake Add the installation prefix of "Qt5" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "Qt5_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If "Qt5" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed. [Leap 15.4] Dependency problem with protonvpn

Running Leap 15.4 Beta I have installed protonvpn 1.7.0-lp153.3.1 from obs://build.opensuse.org/network which pulled in python3-proton-client and python3-protonvpn-nm-lib as well as a load of dependencies. It appeared to install OK and added a shortcut to the KDE menu. should a no-login user be allowed to start a sudo session?

Hi, following issue: A system user (tryton) is created to run a ERP server. The user is a no-login user, and he does not belong to any group. Should this user be able to run 'sudo'? In openSUSE (Leap) it is possible Under e.g. Ubuntu this is prohibited ("not part of the sudo group") What is best practice here? Is it a risk if a no-login user user can run sudo commands without further (group) authorisation? Thanks Axel

XFCE Energy Management

Would like the XFCE Desktop Tumbleweed developers take care of the annoying behavior of the energy management which "should be responsible" to adjust and to save the screen brightness settings. The fact is that the user must adjust it at every system boot or even after a system suspend. It should be really good having a sort of "brightness setting memory" which reminds the previous adjustment made by the user. This issue is really annoying Sirs!
