Hi, can the provision (providing and deciphering) y2logs results provide valuable information on sleep and hibernation issues a machine may/be or is experiencing?

Sound setup in OpenSuSE 15.6

On two machines, I am unable to get sound working. Strangely, the first is my normal working machine, where sound was working on 15.5; the other one is a Lenovo laptop that I'm setting up for my brother. (I'm getting some static from him about how long it's taking to fix this. :-) The problem does not seem to be openSUSE specific; I have tried installing other distros on the laptop, and the sound doesn't work for any of them.) Hi, openSUSE TW 20241213 Question: what is this file for and should it remain? -rw-------. 1 root root 68M Oct 6 15:29 regenerate-all in /home/paul - I see it has possibly something to do with initrd (bootloader)? -Thanks

Fresh install of Tumbleweed here. Why is '# download.use_geoip_mirror = true' located in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf still commented out in the snapshot 20241215 ? I thought the default was without '#'. -Thanks

Hi, I have a quite big amount of files in ~/.local/share/akonadi/file_lost+found Is it safe to delete them? (while akonadi is not running i guess) Thx Axel
