Right, Christmas is over and so I've had time to turn my attention to
GNOME:Community. Sorry this has still taken a while to appear but it's
quite a laborious process checking each .spec file with all their
particular vagaries and foibles - I hope I've not missed
anything/produced false-positives as a result.
Below is a list of packages[1] that need overhauling to match the
packaging guidelines[2] along with the username of their (apparent)
creator (some of them are mine, I know). This mail contains packages
from A-M - another will follow with N-Z.
Please post your progress, especially when the package is compliant,
here. If you're unsure in what way your package doesn't comply, ask me
either here, off-list or in #opensuse-gnome (if hell has frozen over and
I'm actually there).
Please note that I've not considered not using a .changes file reason
enough for inclusion in this list - I'm just going to trust people to do
that as they go. Obviously if people want to be pro-active and make
that change now, I'll be a happy boy.

Hi, everyone!
Who will be going to FOSDEM? A bunch of the opensuse-gnome within
Novell will be there, so that's a good time to meet in person and flesh
out some plans for world domination.

I can fix it, but so can a number of other people too.

A good idea indeed. It's already on the 11.0 ideas list:
http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Ideas/11.0#GDM
I plan to submit a version of GDM with it enabled as soon as I've
defeated an X bug that's preventing me from testing it properly.

As agreed upon in yesterday's GNOME meeting, we've set up a page at
http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/11.0/Testing. This page will be used as a
reference for those interesting in assisting by testing packages planned
for release in 11.0.
Those of you who are packagers, please start populating now.
Thanks,

I updated my system today and here's what I've got with Comix:

If I try to remove Comix, I got the same error:

What the heck is that?
Cheers!

In an attempt to make life easier for Evolution's maintainers, we may
want to patch our package to send BugBuddy reports to the right place...
