We are working on adding Exchange 2007 support to connector and we
estimate the initial support - fetching mails and appointments - to be
completed by mid of august.
Let us know if you are interested to try any custom packages, if
provided, with a patch to support exchange 2007.

Hi,
Wondering if there is an "easy" solution to connecting to an Exchange
2007 server from Evolution (or anything else...), on Suse10.2?
The default packages don't support Exchange 2007, and I have been having
issues trying to install the latest source for Evolution + Exchange
connector, but not even sure if this is supposed to support 2007??
Thanks.

Yes, then there would be libgtop-common (translations, license),
libgtop-2_0-7 (shared library), libgtop-devel (devel) and libgtop-doc
(docs), and libgtop src.rpm.

It sounds inconvenient if package called libgtop can be installed
without libgtop library.
I can also change its name to libgtop-common or so.

libgtop requires libgtop-2_0-7 (so anybody installing libgtop will also
get real library), and libgtop-2_0-7 requires libgtop not older than
library version (so anybody will get a translation package, allowing to
use version not corresponding with exact version of the library).

Hallo.
I spent some time thinking about a fix of libgtop and libwnck shared
library. Here is the result.
Thinking about packaging of library, which often change soname, but does
not change translation domain, I guess that we have to create both
libgtop and libgtop-2_0-7 - first one will contain translations, second
one library itself. If we will not do it, we will get a file conflict or
missing translations.
I guess that the cyclic dependency is OK here. Otherwise you may install
translations without library thinking, that you installed library.
Note that also devel renaming following pkgconfig epoch might be useful
for some packages, but in general, I would be glad to avoid it and
rename packages to its "canonical" form as mich as possible.

Hallo.
Now Factory started to move to GNOME 2.19.
What do you propose from these possibilities:
- Move GNOME 2.18 in /usr to GNOME:STABLE.
- Keep GNOME:STABLE as is and continue updating of GNOME:UNSTABLE.
- Branch GNOME:2.18.

hello all,
I was wondering if when the team adds GnomeBaker to the default could it
also add a little program called Glabels >
http://glabels.sourceforge.net/
It has a nice rating at GnomeFiles >
http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/gLabels
and it includes a very nice little CD label maker.

As the subject says, I've added a package that adds the new RPM macros
that Stanislav has created for 10.3+ to GNOME:Community. This provides
the same macros for 10.2 and older.
Simply add this to your spec file and you can use roughly the same spec
file across the versions:
%if %suse_version <= 1020
BuildRequires gconf2-rpm-macros
%endif
If you include this within the %if statement then the spec file will
normally be exactly the same throughout with no more %suse_version
checks required
%define _prefix /opt/gnome
%define _sysconfdir /etc%_prefix
Of course, there will be some exceptions to that but not many :)

Yo
I've started updating GNOME in Factory to 2.19.4. All of the platform
packages have been submitted, and should show up within a day or two.
Other packages, with enhanced levels of awesomeness, are on the way and
should start to show up a day or two after the platform packages.
Enjoy, and don't hesitate to report any problems you find.
