If we don't have enough content to make the Patches and Upstreaming pages separate right now, having them be one is fine. If we ever need to, we can always split them in two again. :)

I also just created the http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Patches page. I
really think we should merge this page and the Upstreaming one, since
they both deal mostly with the same thing. So, what do you think?

Hi
I'm writing an OSC plugin
(http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/osc_plugins) for adding a
listpatches command. I haven't been able to get the list of files from
GNOME:UNSTABLE (just a single _link entry shows up), so this is from
GNOME:STABLE:
http://www.gnome.org/~rodrigo/GNOME:STABLE-2007-09-21-17.53.36
Take into account that some patches might be disabled in the .spec file,
so not all of them are used, but at least it can give us a first
impression of what packages need more attention.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for everyone's feedback for the Wiki Layout Proposal [1]. The main GNOME Wiki Page [2] is now online and available. If you notice errors, please correct them. Also, if you see improvements, please make them or suggest them to us!
Assignments for filling out the Wiki even more can be found on the Wiki Layout/Tasks page [3]. Please help out where/if you can.
Thanks,
-Boyd

It's a good point, an amendment to the Updated Packages section that
reads something like this is an option:
----
Updated packages that in turn require other packages to be updated
should be tested outside of GNOME:Community prior to inclusion in the
same way as new packages.

The GNOME distrib in openSUSE lacks a tool to configure Bluetooth
devices (especially mice!). I'm always stuck with using KBluetooth to
configure my mouse...
Any chance we can get a GNOME app or control panel or something to
connect to devices that doesn't require a terminal or KBluetooth?

IMO, the Application Browser colors are a bit surprising as long as you
use the default bright desktop colors.
If you click on "Utilies" it darkens the wanted area with a blueish
color. But I'd expect some kind of highlighting. I'd rather dim away
with this blue or gray the groups the user is not interested in.
Cheers,
Karl

Guys, It is incredible what you all have done with GNOME since SuSE 9.3
\NLD9 you should all be very proud of the things you have accomplished
and I hope that 10.3 brings you all many deserved accolades. Installing
and running a gnome based computer is as easy as any other OS on the
market. Thank You!!!

Anyone who was on #opensuse-gnome yesterday may have heard me
complaining about bluez-gnome.
So, G:C now has an updated version (0.14 compared with 0.6 in Factory)
which is actually useful. If you use bluetooth peripherals at all,
please try it out, abuse it and try to break it and maybe once Factory's
open for updates again after 10.3, we can get it in ready for 11.0.
