[opensuse-buildservice] Spec-File Question

Hello everyone! I have started working with osb a month ago and I really love it! Well done! I have a specific question, maybe someone can answer it: I want two build two versions of an executable file and provide this file via different rpms (At the end three packages shouldresult: package, package-cgi-withfeature, package-cgi-withoutfeature). Is there any way to handle such things within _one_ spec file? I can configure/make the package twice and copy the resulting file somewhere, but I don't know a way to bring it back to it's position in the filesystem before I enter the related %file section. [opensuse-buildservice] new build checks in openSUSE:Factory

Hi, we have now open sourced another chunk of build checks which were used internally in SUSE/Novell so far. The checks are inside the brp-check-suse package and active when building in or for openSUSE:Factory project. Most of these checks are no rpmlint checks, because they run at a different point of time, before the package got created. So some of them like strip- debug have effects to the build. A fortran 95 compiler *should* compile fortran77 code. You might need to fix the syntax if you're unlucky. [opensuse-buildservice] FC workers produce i586 rpms, OS 11 produce i386!!

Hi, I am noticing a strange behavior of workers running on different distributions. Workers running on opensuse 11 produce *.i386.rpm packages while workers running on fedora produce *.i586.rpm (the expected result). Local builds on the OBS server produce the expected i586 rpms, but using local builds on one of the opensuse 11 workers which has a minimal installation produces i386 rpms. Any hint on what might be the problem or the cause and how to fix it? Hi all! I have a question about fortran 77 and suse11. Is there any compiler for fortran77 in suse11? I found the gfortran and gfortran-4.3 but I think that it is fortran95. Any ideas? comments? Hello All, I have a question. I've build rpm package for coppermine (openSuSE 10.3, 11.0 and Factory). http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/worldcitizen/ When I do a search I don't see this project. http://packages.opensuse-community.org/index.jsp?searchTerm=coppermine&dist… Do I have to take a special action to get it "published" i.e. appear in the search. [opensuse-buildservice] Requiring a generic webserver

Hello, I'm starting to learn OBS and for that I'm trying to package a program that requires a webserver to be installed. I've looked at a sample spec file from a Fedora RPM and it simply solves the problem by specifying: Requires: webserver So I'm wondering, is this possible in OBS/OpenSUSE? Is 'webserver' a meta-package that let's the user choose between the available webservers? (apache, cherokee,...) BTW, it happens the same with the dependency "smtp-daemon" in this fedora rpm I'm mentioning. And I recently asked a question on IRC about this, but related to database engines so, if this is supported, can I do something similar for requiring mysql OR postgresql? (As I've been told that rpm doesn't support this out of the box; I wonder if we should advocate for a RFE upstream about a new "packageor()" keyword.)
