[opensuse-buildservice] GNUTLS SLES9 and request

First my SLES9 question: If possible could someone advise me as to what gnutls and gnutls-devel are called on sles9? It obviously isn't gnutls as I get the "No package 'gnutls' found. Is it architecture specific, as in gnutls-32bit and gnutls-64bit? Most osc actions ("results", "commit") time out for me since at least last night. [opensuse-buildservice] Suggestion: info channel per project

Hi everyone, while we already have repoview-generated RSS feeds for each project/target (like [1]), it just came to my mind, that some kind of information channel per project would be quite helpful. I'm currently moving some packages out of my home project for example, but there is no easy way to tell users of that project what's going on. So having something like the info channel, would help a lot to push that kind of news into it. In addition to that, it could broadcast checkins and probably much more ;) Thoughts, better ideas? [opensuse-buildservice] Builds failing on SUSE_Factory, rebuildpac with osc fails.

Hi folks, I'm currently seeing the following error on BS: Two packets in my home project are currently broken on SUSE_Factory i586. This seems totally random, nothing changed there recently, and the same source builds just fine in the main project I'm also building those. Is anyone else having issues with FC6 builds complaining about a malformed spec file? FC5 builds fine as do the SUSE distros. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello! Machine build09 (i586) is in funky mood again. That means it is throwing error messages like "Unable to connect to xend: Connection reset by peer. Is xend running?" or "Error: (1, 'Internal error', 'Could not obtain handle on privileged command interface (24 = Too many open files)')". Waiting queue for x86_64 is around 120 tasks, while i586 is empty. That's because build09 is always idle, so scheduler sends tasks to it and the build instantaneously fails. This situation is unfortunate, because it "pollutes" OBS with failed status and newly built projects have practically no chance to build at all. My proposal is to add machine list (maybe with hardware specs) to BuildService and add "Blame" button to each machine. When user clicks the button, BuildService will send an e-mail to OBS administrator, who can decide whether to restart the machine or not. [opensuse-buildservice] how to include a project into the official openSuSE distribution?

Hi, Can somebody give me hints about the process to include a project into the official opensuse distribution (or even redirect me to a wiki page?). My project is currently in the buildservice repository, but as a home project. Copying opensuse-pkg since I'm not sure which list is the most appropriate. [opensuse-buildservice] Issues installing init scripts

I've been having issues getting my packages to install the init scripts. I am always left with a build failure stating: + /usr/bin/install -D -m755 init/bongo.init.fc4 -D /var/tmp/build-root-bongo/etc/init.d/bongo /usr/bin/install: cannot stat `init/bongo.init.fc4': No such file or directory The SUSE based builds also fail with the same error (they use a different init file. Could someone enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong please?
