Hello! What is the smartest way to remove one specific line from a predefined RPM macro if it is present? Example: Consider the predefined macro %{amacro} contains: foo bar otherline Now I want to remove the line with "bar" (or make it an empty line) but leave all other content untouched. Actually not the whole tool chain is there because it also includes some proprietary software that would violate the policy of the build service. Thus binaries for those parts are not available in the build service but have to be fetched from the URL above. [opensuse-buildservice] how to include a local build rpm while building another rpm

At the moment I'm trying to build twinkle (home:rbos) for suse-9.3 locally, with: osc build SL-9.3_i586 i586 twinkle.spec This fails with: checking for commoncpp2 version >= 1.4.0... no *** An old version of CommonC++ of 1.3.21 was found. *** You need a version of commoncpp2 newer than 1.4.0. The latest version of *** CommonC++ is always available from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/commonc++/. + make make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.71850 (%build) Therefor I build commoncpp2-1.5.3 locally with: osc build SL-9.3_i586 i586 commoncpp2.spec Which finishes succesfull, providing it's rpms :)) But now what? How do I get the command: osc build SL-9.3_i586 i586 twinkle.spec use these commoncpp2 rpms? I copied those commoncpp2 rpms over from: /usr/tmp/build-root-SL-9.3_i586-i586/usr/src/packages/RPMS/ to the pkgs cache: /usr/tmp/osbuild-packagecache/SUSE:SL-9.3/standard/i586 osbuild-packagecache/SUSE:SL-9.3/standard/i586> ls comm* Comm* CommonC++-2.1.3.0-3.i586.rpm commoncpp2-devel-1.5.3-1.i586.rpm commoncpp2-1.5.3-1.i586.rpm But the twinkle build still fails....? Hi, The build process on Mandriva 2006 (i586) stops with a strange message : ... installing crontabs-1.10-5mdk installing etcskel-1.63-17mdk installing ghostscript-fonts-8.11-4mdk error: %post(ghostscript-fonts-8.11-4mdk.noarch) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 mount: can't find / in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab /bin/bash: halt: command not found Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! I have a account swyear and I do have build some packages see: http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/swyear/ But when I login today I got some error messages: OpenSUSE Webclient Error: Error Details: Errorcode: unconfirmed_user Message: Your user is either invalid or net yet confirmned (state 3). Hi everyone, we really need to promote meaningful changelog entries! While looking at a package, that I wanted to push into Factory (Autobuild), I noticed a lot of changelog entries like this: - update to version x.y This isn't exactly meaningful :( Let alone, it won't be checked into Factory.
