Hi,
I wonder if anybody has got 'CDMA Connection' to work via NetworkManager?
I have a D50 USB wireless modem. The driver package, cmotec-qtmodem 1.6
rpm, installs a program, D50 Modem Manager.
http://kickback.no/redirectly/5866/228/2004403?dest=http://www.ice.no/UserF…
Network Manager get a CDMA Connection line, but NM doesn't seem to be
able to connect with the modem. Trying to start the D50 Modem Manager,
also this hang without any connection.

Yes, that would get you exactly to the milestone release and not to the state
of factory - which is the same at the day of the release but moves forward
until the next milestone comes out,

That one is used for testing of updates.
The oss repository is updated with each milestone so that you update with
zypper dup from one milestone to the other,

Hi,
Is every piece in place to start testing 'nouveau' on 11.3 M4?
A simple setup procedure would be neccessary.

Hi all,
1. Which developer version is really installed/running?
Initially I installed 11.3 Milestone 1 from DVD iso, and thought I had
seen later upgrades to M2 and M3 after several upgrades with 'zypper
dup' several times.
But now I became unsure which distribution (Milestone) I really have:
cat /etc/SuSE-release
openSUSE 11.3 Milestone 1 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11.3
cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.32-3-desktop (geeko@buildhost) (gcc version 4.4.2
[gcc-4_4-branch revision 155802] (SUSE Linux) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT
2009-12-04 00:41:46 +0100
Can this really still be Milestone 1 after all package upgrades?
How can we verify exactlly which developer distro (Milestone) we
currently have?
2. How to upgrade to 11.3 Milestone 4 ?
Looking at http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.3-Milestone4/
there is no 'repo' available, just 'iso' and 'delta'
Isn't it possible to use 'zypper dup' to upgrade from a previous
Milestone to M4?
If not, what is the recommended way to upgrade to M4? The M4 delta DVD
iso isn't bootable so that one can run an update installation from there
(according to my attempt).

Hi,
From what I can see, the card reader in my hp8710w laptop is a Ricoh
xD-Picture Card Controller:
# lspci | grep Card
02:06.0 CardBus bridge: Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c476 II (rev b9)
02:06.1 CardBus bridge: Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c476 II (rev b9)
02:06.6 System peripheral: Ricoh Co Ltd xD-Picture Card Controller (rev 10)
Entering a 4GB SDHC card in the reader, automatically mounts fine in
11.3 M3 Gnome (similar like a removeable usb disk). But rebooting the
system with the card in the slot, freezes the system before reboot
really starts, so that a cold start is required.
Any similar experience or what the reason can be? I expect this is a bug
somewhere?
With 11.2 however, the SDHC card doesn't mount at all.
Any tip how this possiby can be done in 11.2, lack of driver or other
reasons?
Rgds,
Terje J. Hanssen

According to the Roadmap schedule Milstone 3 has been available since
March 04.
Why isn't there yet available any announcement or factory news since M2?
