Is every piece in place to start testing 'nouveau' on 11.3 M4? A simple setup procedure would be neccessary.

One thing to bear in mind is that the userspace interface of nouveau changed between kernel released 2.6.33 and 2.6.34-rc1, requiring different X driver versions to go with it. So if M4 is using kernel 2.6.33 and a later milestone switches to 2.6.34, the userspace driver xorg-x11-drv-nouveau will have to be updated in lockstep.
That said, I am certainly looking forward to getting dual screen support for my nVidia card without tainting my kernel.
