My Pinnacle Dual DVB-T Diversity is not supported by

This patch

Hi,
After finished downloading DVD Beta1 and start installing in my PC.
It boot from the DVD no problem (really good), but during the installation it
appear the error messages box said that : OpenOffice.org-km corrupted. then i
try to click "try again" button but still cannot be continued, so i have to
click "Skip" button. After I clicked it stopped the whole installation.
How can I fix this? I really don't want to download the whole DVD again.
Because the internet is slow here.
Welcome any help!

Sokhem

Hi,
when trying to compile programs, I get messages like
In file included from /usr/include/bits/sigcontext.h:28,

/usr/include/asm/sigcontext.h:4:28: error: linux/compiler.h: No such
file or directory
The /usr/include/linux directory is provided by the linux-kernel-headers
package, but I could not find the requested file.
I have about the same problem with /usr/include/asm - there are several
directories (i.g. asm-arm, asm-i386, ...), but no asm directory or no
link for this.
Any hints?
kind regards,
Rainer

when upgrading from 10.2, I had the following issues:
* After performing the media checksum thing (no problems detected),
I got the message, that yast ldap client could not be installed
(file is corrupted). The rpm is installed later on without problems!
* After installing the rpms, I got a red linuxrc screen, telling me,
that there was a problem with the installation - no information
what problem. I have no idea what happend, so I restarted upgrade
-> all was fine.
* The internet connect test (looking for updates during
installation, ...) did not succeed, the protocol does not give any
information (blank box). Afterwards, I found out, that the cable
was not connected ;-)
After installation completed, I am looking for some files, which were
not included on the image, e.g. libtheora-devel, source.rpms, ...
Where can I get them?
kind regards,
Rainer

Hi,
I installed the following rpms:
ConsoleKit-0.2.1-41.2

hal-resmgr-0.1_SVNr141-11

When inserting a USB stick, formatted with FAT, I get a Konqueror
message: "hal-storage-mount-removable no <-- (action, result)"; the
media is not mounted.
Trying to hibernate:
powersave -U
liblazy (liblazy_dbus_send_method_call:71): Received error reply: The

Hi List,
I downloaded the openSUSE 10.3 Beta1 from:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3-Beta1/iso/torrent/openSUSE-1…
But after the first reboot, the interface is still in English, and I wonder
why there is only one CD for this release?
Can anyone tell me more about this?
Thanks,
Sokhem

Hello all
I am testing Beta 1 of opensuse 10.3 KDE CD.
This release auto detects an RaLink RT2500 wireless pci card. However,
when attempting to set up in Yast for my home network (network name,
disable ipv6, and set to external zone) - yast complains it is missing
"smpppd" package when clicking finish.
I have searched the CD and do not know where that package may be
(missing?). I have also searched for make on the CD and it appears make
is not on the CD. I was going to just install the serial monkey drivers
for this card.
My question; is the smpppd package a bug, or due to the limited size of
the CD not present? My other question is - where may I suggest to have
"make" placed on the CD - if this is possible. Of Course there is
always the possibility I have overlooked something.

So openSUSE 10.3 Beta 1 has now been released and it's looking great.
A long-discussed topic on the opensuse-project(a)opensuse.org was the
suggestion of having a "Bug Slashing" day or weekend.
The aim of the weekend is to try to help developers and packagers by
trying to clear up the Bugzilla, finding out which bugs need to be
addressed, seeing if particular bugs can be reproduced and how, and
where necessary seeing which open 10.2 bugs still apply to current
Factory (10.3 Beta1). It's also the place to ask about a particular
bug, or ask any other queries about whether you have found a bug.
These days have run very successfully within other projects, so it's
certainly time for us to give it a go too!
It should be good fun all day (though of course showing up for any
amount of time is good) and it's a great way to contribute and get
directly involved. Here are the details:
* Where: #opensuse-bugs on irc.freenode.net. For a general technical
introduction to IRC (Internet Relay Chat) see http://www.irchelp.org/
* When: this weekend. 11-12, all day, all timezones.
http://opensuse.org/Bug_Slashing will have more up-to-date news and
information on bugs to address, bug handling techniques etc. nearer to
the time.
Hope to see you there and Have a Lot of fun!
