BD Video and HD Photo Slideshow tools?

HD video and Blu-Ray players have been usual already several years now. Therefore I have waited for and searched for tools on Linux to be able to start to author and burn my own HDV footages as BD video and digital photos as HD slideshow on Blu-Ray disks. I'm also willing to pay for commesial tools, but so far I haven't found any. I've tried Nero Linux which support just data burning on BD-R/RE. Going to 2010 it's not longer acceptable or of interest to be limited to downgrade to SD video and DVD authoring and burning using Linux, while Blu-Ray and HD video are the current quality, typical by using Nero 9 on Windows. Zypper Upgrades - YaST2 Online Updates - CC Software Updates

Hi all and happy Xmas, I have been wondering what's the difference and overlap between what 'zypper up' does and what 'zypper dup' does. At first I thought 'zypper up' did 'package updates', while 'zypper dup' did only 'distro upgrades' (like what we did from 11.1 to 11.2). But it looks for me now as 'zypper dup' also is the command to use for single 'package upgrades', that is from one version to the next, according to my following, current case: 1. I was running 11.2 i686 and ran the following a) zypper up - which upgraded some packages b) zypper dup - which upgraded even more packages 2. OpenOffice.org 3.1 was installed as part of 11.2. Then I added the Build Service OpenOffice.org:UNSTABLE repo with YaST to get the latest OpenOffice 3.2 (b4), and ran again: a) zypper up - which found nothing to do b) zypper dup - which upgraded OpenOffice from 3.1 to 3.2 3. Then I entered YaST2>Software>Online_Update>Package>All_Packages>Update_if_newer_versions_are_available Firefox 3.6 (b5) was available - but asked to solve a dependice (delete gnome vfs) before it could be installed. Can someone clarify even more what the difference/overlap and equivalents are between zypper 'up' and 'dup' YaST2 Online_Update and Control-Center>System>Software_Update Rgds, Terje J. How to send link to default SeaMonkey Mail Compose from Firefox

In openSUSE 11.2 Gnome Control Center Firefox is the preferred browser. I've selected Seamonkey Email as the preferred email client using the menu there. The respective commands are shown as greyed out firefox %s seamonkey -mail %s However, when I right click and select 'Send link' on a web page in FF, the SM BROWSER start page is opened, not the SM MAIL COMPOSE window. Doing the same from a SM browser window does open the SM Mail Compose windows as it should. What is wrong here and how to set it up correctly. HW testing, a problem for a Norwegian user

Hi all, I have a case from a Norwegian openSUSE user who has switched from openSUSE to another distro due to HW incompatibility on 11.2 He has a Logitech USB Compact Keyboard K300 keyboard on a ECS AMD690GM-M2 keyboard. His problem is that the keyboard does not work so he can't do the instalation. He has treid both the Gnome and KDE version of the live CD. He is running Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS ++ on the same configuration. The user believes that it is based in some USB/ACPI related configuration on openSUSE, but he is no tech. expert. He does state that without ACPI=off he can not even get to the install picture/screen in the beginning. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Anyone that can help debug the problem?
