New kernels broke everything: suspend, hibernate, hybrid-sleep

As per the subject. After opening the bug (https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208724) which at the end has not been resolved at all, things are even worse in this aspect with latest kernels. Ghostscript versions of TW and Leap because of CVE-2023-3664

Following CVE-2023-3664, 10.1.2 is needed because of a now published exploit, is this corresponding to our package numbering? I am getting entropy@localhost:~> sudo gs --version 9.56.1

[Opensuse 1.5.5] New installation the efi opensuse directory is nearly empty and the system won't boot

Hi, I did a new installation using Leap 15.5, I have a dual-boot system with windows, I am using EFI without secure-boot. I had another linux distribution and I wanted to replace it with Leap. The installation process seemed to go well until I rebooted and I was greeted by the grub shell. mounting /boot/efi partition (which I did not format) I compared the opensuse directory with the old linux directory and there was a huge difference. In the opensuse directory there was on file GRUBX64.EFI and no grub.cfg, on the other hand the old linux efi directory was full of files. Why is this happening and how can I solve it? Regards.

OpenOffice 4 wants gtk2-tqt-engine

I'm trying to get OpenOffice to work (required by another software I want to use). I have successfully installed openoffice, but when I try to start any of its components it fails with "The application gtk2-tqt-engine (soffice.bin-gtk-tqt-application) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT)." It looks like it's imbedded in OpenOffice? Not sure. I've attached a trace. Might be related to the desktop I'm using (Trinity)? [TW] SB shim seems to be broken

Hey, tried to install TW today on a secondary machine, but the Install ISO and installed system don't boot because my Firmware tells me the shim can't be verified: security violation. and shuts off. Running this on the latest Dell Latitude 5490 UEFI firmware (as of today - 1.28.0) with only the MS and MS third-party key in the database.

Missing blueooth adapter

Hi, Since about 06-2023 the bluetooth adapter in my system is not seen anymore. Afaics with Yast, all software/drivers needed to activate bluetooth is installed, but hwinfo of today does not show anything bluetooth related. SDDM 0.20 fails

As indicated in a mail to factory[1], SDDM is now at 0.20 in Tumbleweed. As suggested I rebooted as soon as the dup was completed, but now it isn't working right. The machine is KDE/Plasma/X11, set up to auto-login as a user. I mostly access it via SSH and VNC (using x11vnc), but it does have a monitor, mouse and keyboard when they are needed. After this dup though x11vnc wouldn't work and I saw my user had no xauth file under /var/run/user.... There seemed to be the usual processes running (Kwin/Plasma, Xorg.bin and such). I saved dmesg output and Xorg.(0,1).log but didn't find anything outstanding off the bat. I ran x11vnc with -create option and that ran, but connecting with the client just showed a weird display with a small window with some sort of command line interface. I looked at the physical display (after much of this fiddling around, so I don't know what it was like originally) and it showed the openSUSE light bulb with a gear splash screen. I've rolled back to the prior snapshot, but is there something different I should do or fiddle with when I try this update again?
