[opensuse-support] ruby dependency installing machinery on TW

Recently after the last two TW snapshots, I now get this error regarding machinery installation: # zypper in machinery Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Resolving package dependencies... Problem: nothing provides rubygem(ruby:2.5.0:rack-protection) = 2.0.1 needed by ruby2.5-rubygem-sinatra-2.0.1-2.2.x86_64 Solution 1: do not install machinery-1.23.1-1.5.x86_64 Solution 2: break ruby2.5-rubygem-sinatra-2.0.1-2.2.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c): c I was hoping it would get resolved in the next snapshot or so. Any ideas? I can use machinery from a VM running SLES or Leap so it's not critical, just a small pain since I had it on my base laptop install. Wayne

Hi, after snapshot 726 Lmms does not start anymore: >lmms VST sync support disabled in your configuration free(): invalid pointer Aborted (core dumped) I was few snapshot behind so I don't know exactly since when.. [opensuse-support] kmail problems with akonadi

After a period of kmail running smoothly I get some mails that cannot be deleted. After trying out without much success cleaning up kmail with akonadictl fsck(, vacuum and restart ) without any visible effect. I have found that deleting the affected folders and adding those folders with a slightly different written folder name gives me a clean kmail for a certain period of time. I have the feeling that there must be a better solution especial after I have gotten two emails in the inbox that will not be deleted. Inbox is one of the folders that cannot be deleted. Do not know if the result of akonadictl restart gives a clue to my particular problem but the end of the command stops with following text and have to be stopped with Ctrl C. Another observation, akonadictl vacuum races through the command as fast as the fsck command even as there is a warning that: vacuuming database, that'll take some time and require a lot of temporary disk space... akonadictl restart ....... ........
