[opensuse-buildservice] [BUG] BuildDepends doesn't find packages using multiple <path> entries

If a project A has a <path> to another project B and that has a <path> to C then a package in A should look in A,B,C to resolve build depends So.... if a project A has a <path> to another project B and that has 4 <path>s to C,D,E,F then my package should look in A,B,C,D,E,F to resolve build depends. Both the other approaches (using the same packages via different routes) fail to build. nb ... I'm beginning to look through the svn buildservice so pointers to the relevant code would be appreciated. David Notes: * the project introduces a Require: meraccel-x86lib via prjconf; it fails even if this is in the .dsc * the reason for all the subprojects is to prevent 'circular' builds. [opensuse-buildservice] Weirdness I do not understand w.r.t. cifs-mount

Hi, I am looking to understand some curious behavior I am observing w.r.t. cifs-mount. On my openSUSE 11.1 box: -> rpm -q --whatprovides /sbin/mount.cifs cifs-mount-3.2.7-11.4.1 And when I use the software search facility I can find a package there. Yet when searching the build service for cifs-mount it comes up empty. So how can the software search come up with a package that apparently does not get built? [opensuse-buildservice] [Regression] Debian Build-Depends expansion with alternates "|"

I think a recent change to OBS results in a failure to handle some Build-Depends: in debian packages. In the .dsc having: Build-Depends: <<snip>> lzma, binutils (>= 2.19.1) | binutils-multiarch (>= 2.19.1), <<snip>> Results in nothing provides binutils >= 2.19.1 | binutils-multiarch >= 2.19.1 See: Maemo:Mer:Tools:cross:gcc-4.3-test gcc-4.3 removing the "| binutils-multiarch (>= 2.19.1)" fixes the problem. Hi, thanks to a patch from Chuan the debian and ubuntu repos will be signed now. I hope your users are aware that they need to import the gpg key first, to be able add or to continue to use the .deb repos. HI, How does one set up a build order for packages in a project? For example home:rjschwei:perl-perlcritic/perl-Test-SubCalls requires that home:rjschwei:perl-perlcritic/perl-Hook-LexWrap is built first or there will be an "expansion error" (https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?arch=x86_64&code=expansion+error…) Yet it appears that when the build is scheduled the perl-Test-SubCalls is scheduled prior to the build of perl-Hook-LexWrap. It appears to me that BuildRequires is not being taken into account when package builds are being scheduled. Am I missing some feature that allows me to set up the proper build order or is there something else I am missing? Help is appreciated. [opensuse-buildservice] Error finding /LINK when committing to branch

In our local 1.5 instance of obs-server, we have a tool that will branch all packages that depend on a given package. We use it for testing kernel changes to ensure that all the kmps will work after the change, among other things.
