Bash shell-script läuft nicht (suse 7.0 pro)

Hallo Leute, ich habe folgendes Problem: ich habe versucht für meinen Rechner (Daten siehe unten) die neuen Linux-Treiber für mein internes Modem zu installieren (dafür siehe ebenfalls ältere Mail von mir... das Ding läuft immer noch nicht). Das von Creatix zur Verfügung gestellte makefile und die entsprechenden Shell-scripts konnten von meiner Bash nicht ausgeführt werden. Dabei konnte unter anderem die Shell gesetzte Variablen (wie z. B. $KERNVER) nicht schreiben. Lehre Zeile ohne dem „#“-Zeichen am Anfang (wird für Kommentare verwandet) wurden beim ausführen mit „: command noth found“ angezeigt. Solche Probleme hatte ich nie mit Unix. Konnte es sein daß ich aus versehen ein paar Module oder Bibliotheken vergessen habe zu laden? Ich freue mich für jede Nachricht. Screen und Modem vom LT9399 (Aldi) notebook

Hallo Leute, ich habe zwei kleine Probleme die auf dieser Weise zu lösen hoffe. Hier erstmal die Hardware: LT/MD 9399 von Medion (bekannt auch als Aldi-Notebook 2000) bauähnlich wie ASUS L7300G Prozessor: PIII 600 Graphik: Silicon Motion Lynx3DM (SM 720 b1 bzw. SM721) Modem: Creatix V90HaM mit Ambient Chipsatz Linux: Suse 7.0-Pro Edition ich habe folgende Probleme: a) ich habe sowohl meine Xfree-Version auf Xfree4.0.2 "ge-updated" als auch das neue SAX2 von der SUSE-Seite geladen. Beides scheint offensichtlich gut zu funktionieren (ich muß ehrlich gestehen das es das erste mal war wo ich die graphische Oberfläche von SAX gesehen habe... davon ging nicht viel ?). Log ich mich aber mindestens einmal ein (Verwendung von KDE2) und wieder aus, wird nach dem shutdown-Befehl der Bildschirm schwarz bzw. türkis im linken mittleren Bereich. Normalerweise (wie ich früher feststellen konnte) pront er in der Zeit die Geräte die er runter fährt. Runterfahren macht er offensichtlich richtig (2x beep am Ende, kein disk check beim Wiederhochfahren). Irgendwelche Vorschläge? Ist ein upgrade auf Xfree4.0.3 sinnvoll? b) Seit ein paar Wochen hat Creatix die Linux-Treiber für das Modem zur Verfügung gestellt. Die habe ich nach deren Anleitung installiert. Des weiteren ergab der Befehl /sbin/lspci v unter anderem auch den Communication Controller. Nachdem setserial /dev/ttyS3 irq <Interrupt>(9) port 0x<IO-Adresse>(2000) durchgerführt wurde, wird das modem von YAST2 weiterhin nicht anerkannt. Wie wird denn die ttyS...-Wert definiert? Kann der Fehler da liegen? Ich hoffe meine Beschreibungen waren ausführlich genug um etwas Hilfe zu bekommen. Problem mit Uhr und APM

Ich habe ein Notebook (Samsung GT8650 mit PIII und Phoenix BIOS 4.0 R6 04UE) mit SuSE 7.0 (Kernel 2.2.16) und Windows 98SE (OEM) darauf. Wenn ich unter Linux Suspend aktiviere und dann mein Notebook wieder "aufwecke", wird die aktuelle Zeit als GMT (UTC) verstanden und die lokale Zeit (MESZ) entsprechend als zwei Stunden später gezeigt. Dies obwohl ich in /etc/rc.config GMT zunächst (s.u.) auf "" statt "-u" gesetzt habe (da mit GMT="-u" die angezeigte lokale Zeit unter Linux immer anders ist als die unter Windows) und in /etc/rc.config.d/apmd.rc.config APMD_SET_CLOCK_ON_RESUME="yes" gesetzt habe. Wenn ich das Notebook dann ausschalte und wieder boote, wird die Zeit wieder richtig gezeigt. Indem ich im Internet versucht habe, dem Problem selber nachzugehen, bin auf folgende Website gestoßen: <http://www.scd.ucar.edu/nets/intro/staff/siemsen/linux.html#time>. Da steht: `YAST has a screen that lets you specify whether the hardware clock contains GMT or local time. Unfortunately, YAST doesn't set the value correctly, no matter which YAST setting you choose, time isn't set correctly. So you have to edit the /etc/rc.config file directly. Set the GMT value like so: GMT="--localtime".' Aber auch dies hat mein APM-Problem nicht behoben. Kennt jemand hier eine Lösung? Danke, --Steve Berman
