KVM preinstall on workers in own obs instance trouble

Hi there, I am running the build server for the Packman builds - PMBS. Since a few weeks we are tying to build for Slowroll also. Since about a month (~ Sep 26th or around), builds fail on my two workers for Slowroll. It is possible, that there are repos, for which building is also failing - possibly xUbuntu_20.04, but for the main targets Leap and Tumbleweed everything is fine. CentOS 8 Stream builds unresolvable

Hi, For some time, CentOS 8 Stream builds are unresolvable because of the following error: unresolvable: nothing provides gcc = 8.5.0-18.el8 needed by gcc-c++, (got version 8.5.0-15.el8), nothing provides libgomp = 8.5.0-15.el8 needed by gcc, (got version 8.5.0-18.el8) Can someone please have a look at it? I doubt that it is a Centos problem and they have broken gcc packages in the distro for weeks... Thanks M.

Fedora 39 missing i586

Need help with a _service file

Sorry if this is dumb question, I'm new to OBS, I am probably missing something obvious. I managed to create a github integration and have the *.dsc and *.tar.xz files needed for Debian builds downloaded automatically from github: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/home:mx-packaging/xdelta3-gui However, the files have a "_service:" prefix and the build doesn't start (I assume because of the prefix, but not sure). Hi, I'm new to OBS, so I apologize for this question. I have installed OBS-Appliance and connected to OBS at build.opensuse.org. However, in the test project, I can only see SLE15.2 and older versions. Is it possible to add the current SLE15.5 and SLE15.4? I believe these build targets should be available. Hi! I've been trying to build using AmazonLinux2023, I've gotten the DoD repos working now, but stumped with UsrMerge. Hi Adrian, Sometimes things happen faster then expected :) The storage volume providing all binaries of home:* projects is back. So the system is entirely back, just the schedulers are in cold start. That means new jobs won't start building in next hours. Do the builds of new/updated packages start automatically or do they have to be triggered in some way when the schedulers are back? Please be aware that build.opensuse.org is not allowing access to the binaries and build results of any home:* project. The reason is that the storage system of it struggles atm and is not expected to be repaired today. Requests to OBS timing out?

Good morning, is it just more or do others also experience various requests to OBS timing out? Some pages load, but after clicking a link to another page I get a red "The request timed out. Please try again" banner. I have not found a pattern on why some pages load and others do not. Hi, today I wanted to copypac some packages. However the command line process took very long without any response. I then wanted to crosscheck on the web interface and couldn't open the project link. When I want to open any package from the "Latest Updates" I also get a request time out. Could you please check? Sources in repos and debbuild?

Hi! I know that debbuild is not a perfect solution, but with it, how do I configure the OBS so the repos also publish sdebs (sources)? I get the .sdeb built, but they are not published in the final repo, only internally. Any flag I am missing? :) -- Bo

Slow OBS Interface

Hello, is there something broken in the OBS interface. When there are larger files in a project it now takes ages for downloading (e.g. osc co Application:Geo qgis). While it takes a few seconds to download the original files here on the 250MBit line the download for osc takes several minutes (without progress report!). That was MUCH faster in the past. Hi, I just wonder if it is normal, that I currently have extremly slow bandwith to build.o.o when trying to do a openSUSE:Factory:zSystems testbuild with type qemu. The Package that I am interested in is python-onnx, and it is now downloading for 58 Minutes without any end in sight.
