Hi, I am new and trying local build on s390x with SLE_12_SP3 using the following command sudo osc build but I get the public key not available for many packages. You can see the output by clicking the following link https://pastebin.com/YBQk3vGe I know that I can use --noverify option to bypass this and builds complete successfully when I use --noverify option but how can I fix this? [opensuse-buildservice] OBS Appliance - Unable to Update

I am running OBS Appliance 2.8.2 on VMware ESX. When the appliance boots I get an error "Failed to start LSB: Finds the storage device to be used for OBS server and/or worker." I have included a dump of systemctl status obsstoagesetup.service below. I Just want to confirm if this is normal or should be addressed. I also attempted and update of a clone of my appliance via zypper but 2 GB root drive is not sufficient for upgrades. Update begins but end with "Error Code: Write Error". I checked root drive and it was up to 100% utilization from 93% prior to update. I decided to install latest version of OBS appliance over existing install. New appliance adopts my old setting but now I am getting and error on boot "Failed to start LSB: open build service source service server." In addition I am unable to build rpms in this current state. Not sure what to do next to get the cloned appliance to build a package. Hello, guys! I searched how to integrate OBS with GitHub so that a git push would cause OBS to fetch the source code and build. But when I opened GitHub's Integration & services to add the Obs service, I read this: "Note: [GitHub Services are being deprecated][1]. Please contact your integrator for more information on how to migrate or replace a service with [webhooks][2] or [GitHub Apps][3]." [1]: https://developer.github.com/changes/2018-04-25-github-services-deprecation/ [2]: https://developer.github.com/webhooks/ [3]: https://developer.github.com/apps/differences-between-apps/#about-github-ap… The news is from April 25, 2018. The first paragraph summarizes it: "GitHub plans on shutting down GitHub Services so we can shift focus to other areas of the API, such as strengthening GitHub Apps and GraphQL, and improving webhooks. The intention of GitHub Services was to allow third-party developers to submit code for integrating with their services, but this functionality has been superseded by GitHub Apps and webhooks. GitHub Services has not supported new features since April 25, 2016, and we plan to officially deprecate it on October 1st, 2018." [opensuse-buildservice] Container rebuild trigger on included packages and registry multiple tags

Two questions: - Is it possible to have a container rebuild whenever the underlying packages are updated (ie. any package included in the container) even if the packages are in underlying repo path elements and not the project with the container? - Is it possible to publish multiple tags to the opensues registry? Using additionaltags on containerconfig element in kiwi file they are supposedly set, but only tag ends up in the registry. - Related is it possible to keep older revisions (a couple) or "pin" certain tags and keep those until unpinned? Having only a single version of a container is not ideal as it makes it impossible to roll-back to previous version. Project in question: home:jberry:container/osrt-worker-obs. Hey, I'm trying to build a package in my private OBS instance using gcc7 on SLE 12 SP3 and openSUSE Leap 42.3. It is able to resolve the dependency for openSUSE Leap 42.3, but fails with SLE 12 SP3. My OBS is repo contains broken Fedora 27/28 builds because OBS Fedora repo seems to contain older versions of some critical dependencies. In particular, OBS seems to have R-core-3.4.4 whereas Fedora currently ships R-core-3.5.0. Because these versions are binary incompatible, the OBS build of my application does not work on the user machine. Hi, today, I stumbled across strange build failures of nodejs10: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/devel:languages:nodejs/nodejs10 Most failed builds stopped at some point during install without further indication why exactly. It looks like some watchdog is chiming in and stopping the builder. Are there some _constraints missing? 40G disk seems more than enough to me, even if additional intree packages are being built. Hi, My openSUSE Factory ARM builds of Vim (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:fusion809/vim-suse) are "unresolvable", for armv7l it is due to: missing pre/vminstalls: kernel-obs-build . My project config (https://build.opensuse.org/project/prjconf/home:fusion809) does not mention kernel-obs-build, so it's not an error due to my settings. While for aarch64 it is due to: nothing provides rpm-config-SUSE needed by rpm This seems like an issue with the snapshot of the ARM factory repos being used. Hi, My Fedora Rawhide build of Vim (I think URLs are forbidden so go to home:fusion809/vim-redhat package on the openSUSE Build Service public instance) has the status "Unresolvable" due to a conflict between python3-rpm-generators and python-rpm-macros. I recall asking about this in the IRC channel but I was focused on fixing a Cauldron issue at the time so I forget what I was told about Rawhide and I think email is the way to go as it's better documented. My package doesn't depend on python3-rpm-generators or python-rpm-macros, at least not explicitly. Hello, I don't understand how to configure the splitdebug feature. It says " Repotype: TYPE[:OPTIONS] Defines the repository format for published repositories. Valid values are: none, rpm-md, suse, debian, hdlist2, arch, staticlinks. The OPTIONS parameter depends on the repository type, for rpm-md the known options are 'legacy' to create the old rpm-md format, 'deltainfo' or 'prestodelta' to create delta rpm packages, 'rsyncable' to use rsyncable gzip compression. To split the debug packages in an own published repository the option splitdebug:REPOSITORY_SUFFIX can be used." I want OBS to store all debuginfo packages in a separate directory and used ---- Repotype: rpm-md:splitdebug:debug ---- in my project config but all debuginfo packages are stored in the x86_64 directory where the other packages are and the debug directory is not created. Hi, currently I am setting up another ARM worker on our local instance. RPi3 and BananaPi M2 Ultra are working fine on Debian9. Right now I am trying to run an obsworker on an odroid-xu4 running with debian9. Hi, since Friday we have a problem with our local instance. every build fails with the message in the topic. The obs server is reachable via obs.uib.local. It has two IPs, one for the frontend net (192.168....) and one for the test environment (10.100...). We have 3 workers, which are accessible via the frontend network and did work properly until friday. There are no logs on any worker in /srv/obs/log/ Any logs where I can check whats wrong or suggestion of a solution? Good afternoon, I am having a quite singular problem; as of now, I am using the `tar_scm` service for my package and I would like to switch to `obs_scm` as requested upstream. The problem is that, as of now, when using the latter one, the Git metadata (AKA the .git folder) is not repacked inside the CPIO archive. Why is it so? I need the Git metadata in order to properly build the package. Is this a bug or is there a reason for this behaviour? [opensuse-buildservice] WTF is SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS? (SLES15)

Hi, I'm trying to set up my internal OBS instance for SLES15. In order to avoid problems, I'm trying to copy the setup of build.opensuse.org. My setup chokes on SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS, I cannot find it on our SMT as a mirrorable repository. https://build.opensuse.org/project/repository_state/SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Modu… I'm pretty sure we have bought every available SLES subscription ever sold, and even if not, it should at least show up in "smt-mirror" as "not mirrorable". [opensuse-buildservice] mismatch between meta prj and webui

I was adding a description to a prj via the webui. The data showup in Firefox as expected. With 'osc meta prj -e' however I still get the data without <description>. Does either side do any caching? I would expect that 'osc meta' grabs the data straight from the server. Olaf

[opensuse-buildservice] Reset Scheduled state

Hi in our private instance we currently have a problem that one package is in scheduled state. Some builds are schedules without any information, another ones have an entry in the dispatcher log dispatcher.log:262:setting dispatch details to: waiting for 24 compliant workers (15 of them down) The package has been build for SLES12_SP2 so I don't understand why now there should be 24 compliant workers. Currently we have 9 x86_64 worker and some ARMv7 workers. Any suggestion on what to do or where to look to resolve this issue? [opensuse-buildservice] Tumbleweed repository excluded

Why would the Tumbleweed repository be excluded on OBS? For example, I would like to build the following for Tumbleweed: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:rogeroberholtzer/blt30 I don't see that I have configured this to be this way. Is it because enabling Tumbleweed for users would result in too much activity?
