[opensuse-buildservice] WTF is SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS? (SLES15)
Hi, I'm trying to set up my internal OBS instance for SLES15. In order to avoid problems, I'm trying to copy the setup of build.opensuse.org. My setup chokes on SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS, I cannot find it on our SMT as a mirrorable repository. https://build.opensuse.org/project/repository_state/SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Modul... I'm pretty sure we have bought every available SLES subscription ever sold, and even if not, it should at least show up in "smt-mirror" as "not mirrorable". What special magic is hidden in build.opensuse.org? ;-) Have fun, -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

If you have problems with SUSE Linux Enterprise you should contact SUSEs support -> https://www.suse.com/support/ Henne -- Henne Vogelsang http://www.opensuse.org Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Come on. You know exactly what will happen when I really start to create service requests for such things. Nobody will be happy afterwards. This is a simple question about the secrets of build.OPENsuse.org setup. -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

That (fake) module contains all packages you can't buy - to fulfill build dependencies in OBS. I guess we need to make this mirrorable too - but surely not through smt. Hi Stephan, thanks for your constructive answer. Am 03.08.2018 um 12:20 schrieb Stephan Kulow:

Is this things like "obs-service_foo" and similar (which is not shipped by SLES, and which I would build in my own instance), or "libFOObar-devel-static" where libFOObar is shipped with SLES, but the shipping of some subpackage is not wanted (this was the case in SLES12 with some postgres-subpackages IIRC). Is it possible to get a list of packages in this fake repo, then I might just see that I don't need it at all ;-) -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Try osc: osc api /build/SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS/x86_6/_repository Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Try osc:
osc api /build/SUSE:SLE-15:GA/SLE-Module-Development-Tools-OBS/x86_6/_repository
Cool, thanks. I think I'll just add things as required (I added my partial copy of openSUSE:Tools already to get the obs-service-* packages for example) -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
