[opensuse-buildservice] Why is repo checker suddenly looking for 32 bit binaries when there is no baselibs.conf?

Has something changed in obs? See repo checker's comment in: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/multimedia:apps/buzztrax There's no baselibs.conf because 32 bit packages aren't needed but I see that they are being generated but not properly. [opensuse-buildservice] Best way to rename a package

I have 20 or so packages in OBS that I want to rename. I know there is no direct command to do so. I would imagine my best bet is to do so via osc. Anyone have suggestions? [opensuse-buildservice] Build prioritization based on packages blocked and length of build

Does OBS prioritize large/important jobs to more powerful workers? Leap:15.0 has 40% of packages blocked at this point by one very slow job. The page shows it not even half done and over the 100% mark based on previous. Contrast that with the OBS monitor page shows ~75% of workers idle. It would seem straight-forward and very beneficial to prioritize packages that block lots of others and secondary to that longer build times onto more powerful machines. I have done this sort of optimization for job queues elsewhere and seen major improvements. I have also seen the same sort of behavior with libreoffice builds which are far too long under the best of circumstances and awful when they are slower. Does OBS have any prioritization besides based on the project in which the package resides? It seems one can even recognize the stalemate on the overview graph [1] which shows the blocked flattening out much more quickly (even before making it to the previous flat). [opensuse-buildservice] AppImage build with old g++ fails

Hello, I'm trying to build an AppImage (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/ home:frank_kunz/horizon). The sources are compiled with '-std=c++14'. The g++ compiler that is used for build the AppImage is g++ (SUSE Linux) 4.8.5 It seems that this compiler cannot handle the command line option: [ 66s] g++: error: unrecognized command line option '-std=c++14' [ 66s] Makefile:419: recipe for target 'util/uuid.o' failed I tried rpm build that is using a newer compiler (7.2.1), and that works. How to get a newer compiler version into use for AppImage build? [opensuse-buildservice] How to properly handle /boot/initrd-build?

Hi, I am running private OBS instance. The worker host system running qemu workers has to have /boot/initrd-build in order to support booting distributions without kernel-obs-build package. Unfortunately, my host dracut-generated /boot/initrd not suitable for booting qemu workers (initrd waits for appearing efi partition). This is why I need custom one. What is the preferred recommended way to keep initrd-build in sync with currently installed kernel?
