[opensuse-buildservice] Will api.opensuse.org be down on Oct 13?

Hey all, I just saw this news[1] that openSUSE services will be down on October 13 through October 14. It sounds like api.opensuse.org will be affected, but I'm not sure, so I'm asking here. If it is affected, is there something I can do to have my private OBS instances that are interconnected with api.opensuse.org work while it's down? Like perhaps caching all the configurations I pull from the interconnect or something? If there isn't something I can do, is there something you guys could do to keep this from being a problem? The window that it's down in German time is the beginning of my workday, so it's really unfortunate... [opensuse-buildservice] "Built binaries" / "used resources" broken with KIWI / multibuild?

[opensuse-buildservice] OBS scheduler features

I have two patches for review: 1. Fix a problem with different names - OBS package name and RPM name described in the spec-file. For example: OBS package name 'linaro-gcc', but name of rpm is 'gcc'. 2. Change a scheduler mechanism. The build of non-cyclic packets wait the builds of cyclic packets. This has some advantages: reduce time of project build, reducing number of packages rebuilds. I tested the patches on the project with 129 packages (41 cyclic) - the build time was reduced by ~33%. [opensuse-buildservice] packages keeps in scheduled state in private OBS instance

Hi, after a few weeks of proper operation, we experience a strange OBS behaviour now: a kernel-default package stays in scheduled stage since about one day. A reboot of the OBS host didn't helped. The logs doesn't show something obvious. It's a single OBS 2.8.3 host with a few workers, plenty of RAM and cores, with uplinks to OBS and PMBS. The base package kernel-source links to openSUSE.org:Kernel:stable, and built correctly as well as the locally linked kernel-syms. Just the also locally linked kernel-default package misbehaves in the described way. Any ideas for possible reasons of this behaviour and ways to cure them? [opensuse-buildservice] broken package - circular link - can I fix it?

All, The "security:forensics / libfole" package has somehow developed a circular link and I don't think I can fix it without deleting it. Since it's a dev project for factory/libfole I assume deleting isn't a good option.
