Hello All,
A number of packages are stuck in an unresolvable dependency cycle,
which is making me dizzy, caused by the ant-junit package for SLES
requiring ant-1.7.1 and ant in the repo being 1.9.2, and I can't
figure out how to break it. I'm assuming this needs to be worked
around with settings in the Project Config but haven't been able to
put together the correct magic to make this happen.
Would someone with a stronger understanding of OBS be able to provide
some insight into how I can get past this cycle?
Thanks!

Hello,
I no longer have any kind of admin rights on my home project,
home:jlinford. I cannot create packages, delete packages, or do basically
anything. How do I get my admin rights back? Thanks,
~John C.

Hello,
In each of the commits can a url be included which points to the packege
which is updated.
example:
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2014-05/msg00161.html
From: root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (h_root)
Date: Sat, 03 May 2014 16:56:57 +0200
Message-id: <20140503145657.495D6AE0A1(a)hilbert.suse.de>
URL:https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/mysql-workbench
It just makes finding the package easier.
URL line added.
Was unsure which list to post this to, so I gussed.
Thanks Glenn

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to build a kiwi image using latest
version of kiwi from the Virtualization:Appliances project.
Unfortunately I didn't find any useful documentation. I also
experimented with different settings but no luck...
Can you point me to some documentation/a package doing the same thing?
Thanks in advance
Flavio

Hi All
I have fallowing trouble with one Perl package on the OpenSUSE build service.
there is perl-Gearman-JobScheduler living in devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G. It
used to have a lot of unresolvable packages and I was able to fixed all
trouble there expect one. the package perl-Gearman-JobScheduler need perl-
Gearman-XS for build.
first cca two weeks ago I first fixed the perl-Gearman-XS I updated it on the
latest stable version and did the commit .. no trouble there. The build for
openSUSE_13.1 is working fine and package was publish there:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/perl:/CPAN-G/op…
The I`m trying build perl-Gearman-JobScheduler I got this error:
osc -vvv build openSUSE_13.1 x86_64 --no-verify
makeurl: https://api.opensuse.org ['source', 'devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G',
'_meta'] []
makeurl: https://api.opensuse.org ['source', 'devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G',
'perl-Gearman-JobScheduler'] cmd=getprojectservices
Building perl-Gearman-JobScheduler.spec for openSUSE_13.1/x86_64
Getting buildinfo from server and store to
/home/mcaj/Prace/osc/obs/devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G/perl-Gearman-
JobScheduler/.osc/_buildinfo-openSUSE_13.1-x86_64.xml
makeurl: https://api.opensuse.org ['build', 'devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G',
'openSUSE_13.1', 'x86_64', 'perl-Gearman-JobScheduler', '_buildinfo'] []
Getting buildconfig from server and store to
/home/mcaj/Prace/osc/obs/devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G/perl-Gearman-

makeurl: https://api.opensuse.org ['build', 'devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G',
'openSUSE_13.1', '_buildconfig'] []
buildinfo is broken... it says:
unresolvable: nothing provides perl(Gearman::XS)
the package perl-Gearman-XS is in the same repo as perl-Gearman-JobScheduler.
I think this might be trouble in the build service and in the meta data
information there the package perl-Gearman-XS was broken for long time and
maybe in the information was fixed did not reach some data field somewhere...
Can you please have look on this ? (osc co devel:languages:perl:CPAN-G/perl-
Gearman-JobScheduler )
Thank you.
