[opensuse-buildservice] osc remote grep log

Hi: Since a lot of time, I find the API and osc lack of a very useful feature, that is searching within remote log files in a package or project. is there any hope that an ack(1) like functionality will get implemented in the backend and osc ? Currently to find a particular thing in a remote project you must hack around downloading all log files one by one and then searching..thing that is not very efficient.. A complex syntax with regular expressions may be an overkill, a simple text search may be enough.. HI All I update my OBS from 2.1 to 2.3 following the README.UPDATES guideline in obs-api package, but I have a prolem. When I execute this command --- ---" RAILS_ENV="production" rake db:migrate" in /srv/www/obs/api directory , I got the following error log: <<<<<<<<<<<<<< WARNING: The database is inconsistent, some FOREIGN KEYs (aka CONSTRAINTS) can not be added! please run script/check_database script to fix the data. rake aborted! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Any body can help me ? [opensuse-buildservice] Where can I find a package version in SLE?

Hi, I need to know the exact version of libboost_filesystem1_XX_X in SLE_11_SP2, (I build dependency libraries in M17N, thus I have to fix the SLE builds, or there'll be too many ugly red cross) but I can't find it either in s.o.o or b.o.o. seems OBS doesn't build or host it directly due to reasons I don't know. so is there any method except to acquire and install a trial version? JFYI, our current compiler causes endless loops in many packages. This is why you see currently so many not ending builds on the cluster. [opensuse-buildservice] Problem with spec file

Hi, I am trying to build a package for a cmake based project which generates two executabes, one in /bin and the other in /sbin. I created a desktop file for the one in /bin, but not for the other. I am getting Build Errors, saying that 'Installed (but unpackaged) files present. What does this error mean? [opensuse-buildservice] [gsoc] osc2 client - summary of week 9

Hi, here's a small summary of the 9th (coding) week. Last week I worked on the fetcher and cache manager code. In order to support all features some of the existing classes had to be enhanced with some more parameters. Done: * cache manager code * BinaryList class supports view=cpio * RORemoteFile class supports lazy_open parameter (by default the file is opened lazily that is when a read request is issued) (for the fetcher code we use lazy_open=False) * minor changes in the httprequest module (AbstractHTTPRequest supports the same query parameter more than once) The fetcher code is more or less done (not yet committed) and will be finished by friday evening (I've some exams this week...).
