[opensuse-buildservice] Where can I find a package version in SLE?
Hi, I need to know the exact version of libboost_filesystem1_XX_X in SLE_11_SP2, (I build dependency libraries in M17N, thus I have to fix the SLE builds, or there'll be too many ugly red cross) but I can't find it either in s.o.o or b.o.o. seems OBS doesn't build or host it directly due to reasons I don't know. so is there any method except to acquire and install a trial version? sorry, I have to use SLE_11 or SLE_11_SP1 instead of SP2. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

osc ls -b SUSE:SLE-11:SP2 | grep libboost_files
There is: libboost_filesystem1_36_0.rpm libboost_filesystem1_36_0.rpm libboost_filesystem1_36_0.rpm libboost_filesystem1_36_0-32bit.rpm => even though SLE is not built within OBS, the binaries needed to be imported and as such they are accessible... and can be queried. Thanks for this tip! I added boost-devel into spec file and then found the version from fail log... ugly but it worked.... Marguerite -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

What is ugly in your eyes? As the maintainer for boost I'm curious. Philipp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, Philipp ugly = my workaround method to get boost version from SLE fail builds, because there're more intelligent ways to do it. Marguerite -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

On rereading your message it became clear to me what you meant but then my question was sent. Thanks for responding so fast. Philipp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
