Fixed in git now. Thanks. I don't see how the build package gets triggered for installation (isn't in Factort prjconf as Preinstall or Support). If I would patch the package in Packman would it trigger a rebuild of everything? Or, there is a way to avoid the problem with xine-lib? [opensuse-buildservice] self signed certificates from OBS

Hi: All buildservice stuff is currently running on self signed certicates that are rejected as unknown issuer.. and the certificate does not say who sign them either. In the Packman BS xine-lib has this problem with build-compare. When trying to create the ".same_result_marker" it seems the ".build" directory doesn't exist. The problem happens with all x86-64 versions (i586 usually compare as different because of a plugin), and doesn't happen with other packages. http://pmbs.links2linux.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=xine… Any idea?? Hi: Currently osc supports remotebuildlog or remotebuildtail, this is not an efficient way to get only post build or rpmlint warnings. I suggest a new remotebuildwarn command which only downloads rpmlint/postbuildchecks warnings and takes $packagename as an optional argument, so this information can be retrieved for a whole project. Hi, during a build of openjdk I got the following error java-1_6_0-openjdk.x86_64: W: file-contains-date-and-time /usr/lib64/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0/jre/lib/amd64/server/libjvm.so Your file uses __DATE and __TIME__ this causes the package to rebuild when not needed I assume the correct fix would be redefine them by the actual commit date and time. Maybe Build Service should define __commit_date and __commit_time macros, which would be used in CFLAGS. And in ideal case both can be redefined in default %optflags, like this '%{?__commit_date:-D__DATE__=%__commit_date}' \ '%{?__commit_time:-D__TIME__=%__commit_time}' What do you think? [opensuse-buildservice] Retrieving package version numbers

Hello, is there a way to retrieve the version number of a package, possibly even through the publically accessible part of the API? So far I've found that the buildinfo response to contains a <versrel> element. This however requires authentication and is not very efficient as a repository and architecture need to be discovered first. A rather hackish way which does not require authentication is to extract the version by parsing the filenames returned from the fileinfo response. But this also requires discovering the architecture and repo and has the additional disadvantage that it fails if no packages are built.
