[opensuse-buildservice] /home/vpopmail is not allowed anymore in FHS 2.2.

Dear all, im currently building RPM releases for vpopmail (qmail), which in it's current version must be installed in /home/vpopmail; it is planned to move to /var/lib/vpopmail, but for the moment, I do not want to break current installations. Is there a possibility to suppress this tests for SLE_11 and OSS_11.2, which fails on this error? All other version shows warnings but do not fail. Hi, Together with Nelson I was working on a nice way for him to have App Indicators enabled for transmission, even though we do not have all the dependencies in the distribution. In the same way as in gstreamer, I chose to go through project config and enable app indicator in this way. So the transmission.spec contains: %if 0%{?WITH_APPINDICATOR} BuildRequires: libappindicator-devel %endif osc meta prjconf GNOME:Ayatana contains: Macros: %WITH_APPINDICATOR 1 Then building this package, it fails with: + exec rpmbuild -ba --define '_srcdefattr (-,root,root)' --define 'disturl obs://build.opensuse.org/GNOME:Ayatana/openSUSE_Factory/8c7ff5389b30cd2be46…' --eval %suse_insert_debug_package /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/transmission.spec error: Failed build dependencies: libappindicator-devel is needed by transmission-2.22-49.2.x86_64 => this means 'build' does know about WITH_APPINDICATOR = 1, but the process building the chroot ignores it / does not have the correct information. I am sure that this used to work (as this is for example how I rebuild gstreamer on my private obs instance with all the goodies enabled.. and I believe PM does the same). Is this something that broke with OBS 2.3? Or is the entire process no longer supposed to work like this? [opensuse-buildservice] OBS 2.1.7 released

We have just published another maintenance release for OBS 2.1. Beside the usual bugfixes, it supports some new features: * Building against OBS 2.3 remote instances (like api.opensuse.org) is working now even when new features are used in the projects. * It comes with a default configuration for apache2. While lighttpd remains to be the standard for 2.1, we will most likely switch to apache for OBS 2.3. People who reported random incorrect answers from OBS (like empty answers with OK/code 200) should be able to solve these problems with this setup. There will be also a follow up post about how to use the load optimizations via mod_xforward. But I've got "is not a valid project name" banner when I ask webui to delete this project (openSUSE.org) Is there any way to do it? [opensuse-buildservice] RFC: [PATCH] --offline skips the GPG verification too

Hi, now as we are in funny times with BuildService and iChain, I use a --offline option a lot. But without --no-verify it does not make a sense, because GPG verification needs API. The --offline implies me API won't be queried, so I've made this small patch, which skips the GPG verification as well. Any comments?
