[opensuse-buildservice] Installing on Mandriva via OBS repo

Hi All, I am trying to install my program on Mandriva but can't seem to add the OBS repository. It seems that the command urpmi.addmedia doesn't work with the normal RPM PM. Someone on IRC mentioned that I could specify a different type for the repository in my OBS raw config to automatically generate a urpmi compatible repo. What do I put as the type for my Mandriva repo to make it urpmi compatible? OK, did that but halts before it can finish the configure. Is there another way to access the logs? an alternative solution would be: ln -s /usr/include/et/com_err.h /usr/include/com_err.h that's how I got it to work on my own box. But I could not do that in the build service because I was getting permission denied errors. Hi, there seems to be a problem with the getbinarylist call (view=cpio) and the "Transfer-Encoding" header (depending on the "length" of the request?). I just tried the following curl calls: curl -o out.cpio -v -sS \ "https://api.opensuse.org/public/build/openSUSE:Factory/standard/x86_64/_rep… -e "print 'b'x3616")" and curl -o out.cpio -v -sS \ "https://api.opensuse.org/public/build/openSUSE:Factory/standard/x86_64/_rep… -e "print 'b'x3617")" The response of the first request still includes the "Transfer-Encoding" header but the response of the second request has no "Transfer-Encoding" header. Now consider the following call: curl http://<local obs>/build/<remote project>/<repo>/<arch>/_repository?view=cpio&<long query> This leads to a "crash" in bs_srcserver (the ajax process dies because the response has neither a "Transfer-Encoding" nor a "Content-Length" header). Any ideas why the "Transfer-Encoding" header gets swallowed? What is the difference between Support and Keep? Like, let's say I have a package FOO that I'd like to always be installed in the build environment, *if* it is available. If it is not available, block all other builds until it *is* available, but do not block FOO itself. How do I do that? [opensuse-buildservice] Main project for peless, astrology!

My program peless has existed for a long time now. I was thinking that if it were a main project users could get it from "get software" without first setting search options. I have also packaged Pelle van der Scheer's program openastro.org. If it were a main project or a subproject of a main project people could get it without setting search options. Perhaps there should be a main project called "astrology" and openastro be a subproject, because I am also thinking about packaging a another program called Maitreya. If there were an project for openastro.org both I and perhaps Malcolm <malcolm_lewis(a)bellsouth.net> could be packagers for it since Malcolm was the first to package openastro on the buildservice. Also the author, Pelle van der Scheer <pellesimon(a)gmail.com>, if he has a buildservcie account and wants to be involved. [opensuse-buildservice] tar_scm blocked in "source update running"

dolphin-emu from home:RedDwarf:NonFree, that uses the new tar_scm source service, has been in "source update running" for more than an hour. Also, at least the tar_scm version I have installed from openSUSE:Tools seems to have a typo that makes --filename not work. [opensuse-buildservice] linux-libc-dev in ubuntu/debian repo project config

Hello, I'm using local obs instance to build ubuntu kernel packages. Currently I just take two tar.gz and dsc files from ubuntu repositories and commit them into build service package. At the beginning of build process, there is need to compile several tools to use on build machine (i.e. fixdep, scripts/basic/fixdep.c in kernel source tree). Last one requires include file linux/limits.h which should be provided by linux-libc-dev package. However this package is marked is Build-Essential, it's not installed in the build environment: ... installing libc6-dev dpkg: libc6-dev: dependency problems, but configuring anyway as you requested: libc6-dev depends on linux-libc-dev; however: Package linux-libc-dev is not installed. ... Currently as a workaround, I manually add this package into Build-Depends field of dsc file and thus able to complete kernel package build process. But I suppose it's a matter of project config for ubuntu/debian repositories. Is it possible to fix these configs?
