Re: [opensuse-buildservice] compiler flags issue on openSUSE 11.2 (gcc4.4.1) and factory

OK, did that but halts before it can finish the configure. Is there another way to access the logs? an alternative solution would be: ln -s /usr/include/et/com_err.h /usr/include/com_err.h that's how I got it to work on my own box. But I could not do that in the build service because I was getting permission denied errors. Can you add a cat config.log

OK, did that but halts before it can finish the configure. Is there another way to access the logs?
an alternative solution would be:
ln -s /usr/include/et/com_err.h /usr/include/com_err.h
that's how I got it to work on my own box. But I could not do that in the build service because I was getting permission denied errors.
No, the issue is different...
To fix it, add right after the line %build
the line export SUSE_ASNEEDED=0

Please accept request id 88611 as this is fix for your issues. Problem is all for upstream so please forward both patches to upstream. SUSE_ASNEEDED is not needed any more and is commented by me. added is rebuild of configure script (aclocal and autoconf) On Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 9:07 AM, Di Pe <dipeit@gmail.com> wrote:
sorry, I am only getting back to this now:
the log is here

then I tried this because all previous versions works....but it made no difference
%build export SUSE_ASNEEDED=0 %if 0%{?suse_version} > 1140 export SUSE_ASNEEDED=1 %endif

Hi,
do you have a pointer to the code?
You can check config.log what is breaking here.
