Hello.
Building a package locally I got error:
...
GET https://api.opensuse.org/build/home:Lazy_Kent/openSUSE_11.1/_buildconfig
buildinfo is broken... it says:
unresolvable: nothing provides libzip-devel
osc ls -b -r standard -a i586 openSUSE:11.1 | grep libzip
GET https://api.opensuse.org/build/openSUSE:11.1/standard/i586/_repository
libzip-util.rpm
libzip1.rpm
libzip1-debuginfo.rpm
libzip1-debugsource.rpm
But I can see libzip-devel in repository.
What is wrong?

Hi all,
last Friday I filed two merge request for obs on gitorious. So far, I haven't
received any feedback. Maybe it just went unnoticed. How about having an
automated mail notification to this list when any of the buildservice-related
projects on gitorious get merge requests?

Hi,
I just noticed, that SLES 10/11 (latest SP) upgraded the
php5 Version to 5.2.14 - the buildservice still uses older
php versions:
SLES 10 SP3 : 5.2.5
SLES 11 SP1: 5.2.6
Will the updated versions be available in OBS?
Or is there a different repository with latest patches
for SLES (something like "openSUSE:11.3:Update"
in the opensuse world?)
Bye,
Marcel

Hello,
This is just about the part on the setting up the service when it involked
usually from lines inclusive
preinstalling aaa_base...
preinstalling acl...
.
.
mount: according to mtab, none is already mounted on /proc
logging output to //.build.log...
- I presume one of these is set up/removed for each of the packages in a
users project when time comes to compile the package.
- If that is done on-disk that would use alot of elapsed I/O time. That
would add up over time for the many thousands of packages built.
If that is the case, could a buildroot location be set in ram-memory and a
symbolic link setup be done to connect the users package and the memory
location.
The package built on faster ram instead of using slower disk if disk is
used. Quicker to setup and cleanup the start and end of each process.
The reason I asked was would it help the through-put turnaround time of
jobs submitted.
Just my 20cents worth
Cheers Glenn

I've created a cheat sheet for OBS, you can download the pdf from
http://en.opensuse.org/File:Obs-cheat-sheet.pdf
If you want the odt or have correction, please email me.
The file is supposed to be printed on two sides of a paper - and then cut the
paper to A5 ;)
Hope this is usefull,
Andreas

Hi,
A while ago, the feature to have "osc diff" run in a pager was added.
But all the rdiff part was forgotten. This patch fixes this.
Cheers,
Vincent

No problem with oS 11.2, 11.3 and Factory.
Is this local fault? I use osc 0.129-19.1 from openSUSE:Tools.

I used to be able to create subprojects of the Mono project (of which I
am the maintainer) but I am no longer able to. Is this a bug or was
this an administrative decision? Can I please have control of my own
projects again?
