Hi openSUSE Users On Saturday, July 10th from 09:00 AM CET to 03:00 PM CET, our infrastructure vendor will be shutting down services in the Nuremberg (Germany) data center to allow for a scheduled maintenance of the main power supply. As result, general network connectivity from and to the location will not be available. [opensuse-buildservice] Fedora:13 prjconf not working?

Hi all, I'm trying to build a package, but the obs always keeps turning up "Unresolvable" with the message "have choice for text-www-browser needed by xmlto" followed by a list of choices. I looked in the Fedora:13 prjconf at build.opensuse.org, and it has that clearly stated to use lynx. Setting %_vendor in a prjconf affects all children projects (prjs that link to/use it for building). Hi, I have setup OBS 2.0.1 on my local machine and tried to enable anonymous access. Here is my config in /srv/www/obs/api/config/options.xml: allow_anonymous: true webui_host: build.obstest.sh.intel.com Unfortunately, it does not work, the log reports : Processing StatusController#workerstatus (for ::ffff:10.239.36.25 at 2010-06-30 11:09:50) [GET] [D|# 8304] AUTH: [D|# 8304] remote_host: [D|# 8304] remote_addr: ::ffff:10.239.36.25 [D|# 8304] no authentication string was sent Seems the request.env['REMOTE_HOST'] is NULL and it failed at the host check at: [...app/controllers/application_controller.rb] if @http_user.nil? and CONFIG['allow_anonymous'] and CONFIG['webui_host'] and [ request.env['REMOTE_HOST'], request.env['REMOTE_ADDR'] ].include?( CONFIG['webui_host'] ) Any comments? [opensuse-buildservice] How to make obs server create database in repository?

HI, I've setup a obs v2.0 on an opensuse 11.2 machine, make it build packages for meego platform. it could genereate rpms and gathered into a repository, but this repository doesn't contains database files. I look into bs_publish source code, find the server will use qsystem('createrepo', '-q', '-c', "$extrep/repocache", @updateargs, @createrepoargs, @legacyargs, $extrep) to create repo, and if there is a '-d' paramter to createrepo, datbases will be gnerated. My question is, how to config a project or obs server in order to make the databases generated automatically? New packages and appliance of OBS 2.0.3 and OBS 1.7.5 are available. As usual, you can find packages below http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:Tools/ http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:Tools:1.7/ Both releases contains a fix for a lacking permission check. It was possible to write request data, even in some conditions where you should not be allowed to do so. This had no effect to sources or projects though. OBS 2.0 gets also a number of further fixes and changes, please read below for details. OBS Appliance has been also updated, please check http://wiki.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Appliance From the 2.0.3 release notes: Updaters from 2.0.X can just update the packages and restart all services. Updaters from former releases need to check the 2.0.0 Release Notes file. Hello, 1. Is it possible to download all the attached files within a given project in the [files] tab using a script in linux to the pc ?. An example file list is https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=cacti&project=openSUSE%3AF… Also 2. How can i upload files from a pc to a given project to the [files] tab with a script in linux ?. I presume both would have interactions with osc. Have you got examples on how to uploads and downloads to the given project in the [files] tab ? Hi, SUSE:SLE-11:SP1 containtains now the SLE base in version SP 1. The means it contains all packages as shipped with SLES, SLED, HAE, SDK, ... version 11 SP 1. People who create new SLE 11 repositories will get this as a base by default, since it is recommended to upgrade to SP1. Building against SP0 level is still fine and your packages should still work on SP 1. The exception are kernel based packages like kmp. To be validated. mrueckert: * found a problem in schema validation for aggregates adrian: * Extended api test suite, current coverrage can be found here: http://www.suse.de/~adrian/OBS-API-TestSuite-Coverage/ * Fixed quite some bugs found via test suite. And added some "FIXME" statements for discovered problems, which are not yet fixed. * Working on linked package tracking in api. 2.0.3 release ============= To be released asap, this week in any case. Server status / Downtime ======================== * OBS will be down on saturday for about 5 hours due to network maintenance work * OBS source server died due to some unknown kernel problems (had enough free memory and no special load, but slowed down continuesly) * Disk space problems on our repository server.
